BOHR is celebrating two anniversaries – 40 years of BOHR and 25 years of BOHR Island – and warmly invites everyone to a big celebration on BOHR Island in Lautzenhausen. Admission is free on both days.

Saturday, August 8, 2026
Starting at 4:00 PM, the Beach Party with Beer Pong Tournament kicks off at the gas station. Food will be provided by a food truck, cocktail bar, and Kirner beer specialties.
From 8:00 PM, the 80s Party continues in the festival tent, with music provided by Andy Heck from the Hunsrück DJs.

The day starts from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM with a brunch concert by the Sohren music club in the festival tent.
From 2:30 PM to 5:00 PM, the hit party follows with prominent guests:

All day from 11:00 AM there will also be
- Presentation of the new "Winter Travel Catalog 2026/27" in the BOHR Travel World

- Bus tours with the historic "Günter & Helga BOHR vintage bus – How it all began"
- Event photo booth
- Bouncy castle and children's entertainment
For your physical well-being, there will be a wine stand ("Pre-Tour of Hope"), grill specialties, cakes & coffee, a beverage counter, and the ice cream truck from EisWerkstatt Birkenfeld.
