We generally recommend taking out travel insurance for every trip. Our staff will be happy to provide you with detailed information and help you find the right insurance for your needs.
Especially for popular travel dates and larger groups, it is advisable to make an early request so that desired dates and suitable vehicles can be optimally planned. Of course, we are also happy to check short-term trips.
Damaged luggage (please check your luggage thoroughly after each transfer):
- Flight travel:
Immediate reporting of the damage at the information desk directly at the baggage claim. - Coach travel:
Report any damage immediately after the trip to the bus driver/tour guide. - Cruise travel:
Please report luggage damage to the chief steward/tour guide.
Each report will be reviewed for liability by the responsible companies afterwards.
BOHR stands for personal support, modern coaches, and reliable organization of club and group trips. With many years of experience in the field of bus travel, we accompany groups on day trips, club trips, and multi-day excursions – individually planned, comfortably executed, and personally supervised.
You can find the planned itinerary in our catalog description. All information is subject to change. Unforeseeable high and/or low water levels or delays at locks and bridge passages may necessitate a change in the travel schedule.
In exceptional cases, the shipping company or local agency may use an alternative mode of transport for impassable river sections, depending on availability, or certain program points may not be visitable. We also reserve the right to change the order of the ports to be visited. For cross-border travels, individual passport and customs checks cannot be excluded.
Safety is part of our corporate philosophy. Our standards include regular driving safety training for our drivers, electronic stability program (ESP), anti-lock braking system (ABS), seat belts at every seat, lane-keeping assistants, adaptive cruise control (ART), active brake assistants (ABA), smoke detectors in the trunk and in the restroom, fire extinguishing system in the engine compartment, and modern EURO-6 engine technology. We have our own certified master workshop with trained personnel and are partners of TÜV Rheinland and DEKRA.
The seat allocation is done exclusively based on the registration date (there is no legal entitlement to a specific seat). Changes in the bus type may lead to changes in seat assignments. Please note that cancellations due to seat changes are not possible free of charge.
The minimum number of participants for all our trips is 20 people.
Despite additional charges, in some hotels, single rooms are smaller than double rooms. However, whenever possible, we try to book equivalent single rooms during the procurement process. Often, single rooms are even double rooms for single use. In this case, you will find a corresponding note in the travel description, or the double room for single use is indicated with a separate surcharge. Triple rooms are usually double rooms with an extra bed (rollaway or folding bed). This typically does not offer the comfort of a conventional bed.
For many of our customers, the question arises again and again on how to get to the departure point safely, punctually, and comfortably. For those who cannot come to the BOHR travel world in Lautzenhausen or one of our central pick-up locations, we offer our "Home Door Pickup" for all multi-day bus trips.
Our hiking and cycling trips are active journeys. You are responsible for ensuring that you meet the health requirements. All trips are accompanied by qualified hiking guides or cycling tour leaders. Please note that small ascents cannot be completely avoided even on easy tours, just as short rain showers may occur. If the weather does not cooperate, we will organize a substitute program. No liability is accepted for accidents that occur outside the bus, as far as legally permissible.
