Our scheduled services are approved by the relevant authorities and are subject to the regulation on the General Transport Conditions for tram and trolleybus traffic as well as scheduled services with motor vehicles in their currently valid version.
You can recognize the buses by their white-green livery with the inscription “Flibco” or “Flibco operated by BOHR”. In very rare cases, vehicles in neutral colors with the company logo “BOHR” and the inscription “BOHR Omnibus GmbH” on the front vehicle door or vehicles with the company logo “Sales-Lentz” may be used.

If you miss your booked departure due to a flight delay, your ticket remains valid for the next departure, provided there are available seats. Unused tickets lose their validity and cannot be refunded afterwards.
The counters of most airlines open two hours before departure and close 40 minutes before departure. Please consider the travel time of the coach and any potential traffic disruptions when arriving. Therefore, we recommend being at the airport two hours before departure.
Unfortunately, the transport of animals in our vehicles is not permitted. The only exceptions are guide and assistance dogs, for which the owner can provide appropriate proof.
We strive to provide the bus travel times as accurately as possible and to adhere to them. However, depending on the time of day and traffic conditions, there may be fluctuations. Therefore, we would like to point out that the travel times are non-binding information.
No. Saddlebags, helmets, windbreakers, and repair kits are not included in the inclusive services and must be brought by yourself. In some countries, there is a legal helmet requirement — BOHR generally recommends wearing a helmet.
On many cycling trips, you can bring your own bicycles or e-bikes. However, it is not possible to take your own bicycles on cycling flights and cycling cruises. E-bike batteries must be removed before transport.
This depends on the chosen difficulty level. For easy tours, normal everyday fitness is sufficient. For more challenging hikes, BOHR recommends sure-footedness, a head for heights, and regular hiking training in advance.
On cycling trips, equipment such as helmets, saddlebags, rain clothing, or bicycle repair kits are not automatically included and should be brought along if needed.
If the weather is unsuitable during an active trip, BOHR organizes an alternative replacement program.
The hiking trips mainly take place on well-developed hiking trails. Depending on the destination, however, rocky paths as well as steeper ascents and descents may also be part of the tours.
The cycling tours mostly take place on quiet or traffic-free paths. However, individual sections may also run over gravel, forest, or sand-covered paths.
The coaches are equipped with electronic stability systems, ABS, seat belts, lane-keeping assistants, and modern braking systems. Additionally, regular driving safety training and a certified master workshop are part of the safety concept.
Admission fees are only included in the travel price if they are expressly mentioned in the service description.
Even on many of our combined flight/coach trips, you can expect one of our buses from our own fleet with a German-speaking driver and tour guide at your destination (except for long-distance and cycling trips).
You can find the planned itinerary in our catalog description. All information is subject to change. Unforeseeable high and/or low water levels or delays at locks and bridge passages may necessitate a change in the travel schedule.
In exceptional cases, the shipping company or local agency may use an alternative mode of transport for impassable river sections, depending on availability, or certain program points may not be visitable. We also reserve the right to change the order of the ports to be visited. For cross-border travels, individual passport and customs checks cannot be excluded.
The cultural promotion levy (bed tax, city tax, accommodation tax) is a tax levied at the municipal level that applies to destinations that are touristically attractive – without being explicitly designated as a spa resort or having the right to impose a spa tax. It has international application. It is a cultural and tourism levy on private overnight stays, which is attributed to cities and municipalities that are recognized for having a well-developed tourist infrastructure with numerous external guests.
Examples include theaters, concerts, entertainment events such as city festivals, beach cafés, swimming pools, hiking trails, and similar. The proceeds are intended not only for cultural purposes but also to be used for the improvement of the urban landscape.
NOTE: Unfortunately, bringing your own bicycles is not possible on our cycling flight tours. We offer suitable rental bicycles on-site. You are responsible for your rental bike and are required to sign a rental agreement.
Please remove the corresponding battery from your E-Bike before loading it. For safety reasons, these must be transported separately in the bike trailer and must not be attached to the bicycle during the journey. Therefore, please label your battery with your name.
Almost all buses are equipped with free Wi-Fi. This allows you to surf the internet, chat with friends, or check your emails throughout the journey.
Multi-day trips
We offer discounts on all multi-day trips for small groups starting from 8 people – excluding river cruises and combined flight and bus trips. The condition is that they are full-paying individuals, and registration must be made for all participants, who will be confirmed together on one invoice.

They are based on the experiences of BOHR's travel purchasing and on the corresponding designated markings (stars) as found on the most well-known review portals on the internet (e.g.: TripAdvisor, Booking.com, HolidayCheck, Momondo, HRS, etc.). According to § 651r BGB, we have secured the insolvency risk. You will receive your security certificate with the travel confirmation.

On all multi-day trips, each person is allowed to bring 1 piece of luggage with a maximum weight of 20 kg. Your hand luggage should not exceed a weight of 7 kg. For flights, you will receive the current luggage regulations along with your travel documents. For trips with an overnight stay or ferry rides, it is advisable to carry a separate bag containing your essentials for this overnight stay, as your main suitcase will remain on the bus overnight.
If you need to bring special aids such as a walker, wheelchair, stroller, sleep apnea device, etc., this must be registered as special luggage when booking your trip. Please note that the transport of electric wheelchairs and city buggies is not possible.
The minimum number of participants for all our trips is 20 people.
Different entry regulations often apply to travelers of other nationalities. Please inform yourself in good time about the respective entry regulations at the Federal Foreign Office or your embassy.
Despite additional charges, in some hotels, single rooms are smaller than double rooms. However, whenever possible, we try to book equivalent single rooms during the procurement process. Often, single rooms are even double rooms for single use. In this case, you will find a corresponding note in the travel description, or the double room for single use is indicated with a separate surcharge. Triple rooms are usually double rooms with an extra bed (rollaway or folding bed). This typically does not offer the comfort of a conventional bed.
Safety is part of our corporate philosophy. Our standards include regular driving safety training for our drivers, electronic stability program (ESP), anti-lock braking system (ABS), seat belts at every seat, lane-keeping assistants, adaptive cruise control (ART), active brake assistants (ABA), smoke detectors in the luggage compartment and on the toilet, fire extinguishing system in the engine compartment, and the lowest-emission engines of the EURO 6 class. We have our own certified master workshop with trained personnel and are partners of TÜV Rheinland and DEKRA.
The seat allocation is done exclusively based on the registration date (there is no legal entitlement to a specific seat). Changes in the bus type may lead to changes in seat assignments. Please note that cancellations due to seat changes are not possible free of charge.
We provide all travelers in our non-smoking coaches with the best travel atmosphere. For smokers, we of course schedule sufficient breaks.
The tourist tax is a form of tourism fee/visitor tax. It is usually a state or municipal fee that is charged at the local level per person and paid overnight stay within a municipality. It applies exclusively to designated spa resorts.
We generally recommend taking out travel insurance for every trip. Our staff will be happy to provide you with detailed information and help you find the right insurance for your needs.
The advertised travel prices are per person in a double room. The special regulation for travel agencies according to § 25 UStG also applies. For most trips, excursions are included (see below for included services).
We reserve the right to make any changes to the described program schedule, particularly due to changes in flight times. Due to current special circumstances and safety precautions, it may not be possible to fully utilize all booked services due to official regulations, leading to certain restrictions.
Such restrictions are not considered a travel deficiency due to the special situation surrounding the Covid-19 or Coronavirus pandemic; for example, swimming pools and saunas may be closed.
Winter operation: Please note that during winter travel, the travel program may deviate due to extreme winter weather, and toilets on the coaches may not be usable in freezing temperatures.
If the minimum number of participants of 20 people is not reached, we will inform you in advance and usually offer you an alternative trip. If the required minimum number of participants is not reached for multi-day trips, a cancellation by BOHR/Sippel is possible up to 21 days before the start of the trip – for day trips up to 8 days before the start of the trip. Any deposits made will of course be refunded immediately.
