During your 3-year training as a vehicle painter, you will learn all the important job-specific training contents. These include, among others:
- Preparation of surfaces using special techniques, such as sanding and priming, masking or covering non-working areas
- Applying individual layers of paint
- Painting vehicles and structures of all kinds
- Sealing cavities and preserving surfaces with care products
- Checking and evaluating surfaces
- Assessing bodywork and paint damage
- Dismantling and assembling body parts, repairing and checking vehicle electronics for functionality
- Planning, controlling, and evaluating work processes and results
