Heidelberg Castle Illumination

At noon, travel to Heidelberg. Upon arrival, a tour guide will already be waiting for you to introduce you to the history of Heidelberg during a 90-minute city tour. After the tour, you will have free time. Around 10:15 PM, Bengal lights will slowly bathe Heidelberg Castle in a mysterious red glow. As the glowing castle gradually fades, the second part of the spectacle begins – the brilliant fireworks over the Neckar. The best view of the fireworks is from the Philosopher's Path, on the Nepomuk Terrace at the Old Bridge, or along the Ziegelhäuser Landstraße (near the Old Bridge). Return journey 1 hour after the end of the fireworks.
