Usedom Island

The island between land and sea primarily attracts with its untouched nature, long white sandy beaches, impressive playful spa architecture, and the newly constructed piers. Świnoujście is the largest city and the first seaside resort that was established on the island of Usedom. With its diverse cultural events, the place has developed into one of the most popular Polish seaside resorts. Spend carefree holiday days by the sea!

Day 1 | Arrival
Departure in the early morning and drive to Swinoujscie on the island of Usedom. Check-in and dinner at the hotel.

Day 2 | Swinoujscie & Misdroy

The port city of Swinoujscie is partly located on the island of Usedom and partly on the island of Wolin. During a tour, you will learn interesting facts about the city's eventful history. The tour is rounded off with a harbor cruise through Swinoujscie. Here you can smell the air of the big wide world as the ships dock at the pier. Afterwards, you will continue to Wolin, to the largest seaside resort on the island. In Misdroy, you will have free time around lunchtime and the opportunity for a walk on the famous film star promenade. You will also have the chance to walk in the footsteps of the Vikings and Slavs, who once conducted thriving trade here. In the afternoon, you will continue to the Wolin National Park. From here, you will walk to the viewpoint Zielonka and get a beautiful panoramic view over the Swine back delta, a swamp area where some islands are located that are nature reserves. You will return to your hotel for dinner.

Day 3 | Island Tour Usedom

Today you will get to know the sunny island of Usedom better. Along the coast, you will visit the imperial spas Ahlbeck and Heringsdorf, where you can still sense a hint of the Wilhelminian era. After a walk along the promenade, you will continue to Koserow, to the salt huts. Here you can still see very nicely the origin of such fashionable seaside resorts as Heringsdorf. Strengthen yourself with a delicious fish sandwich and watch the fishermen smoking their catch. Afterwards, you will visit the remains of the former Army Research Institute in Peenemünde, which is also referred to as the cradle of space travel. To conclude the day, you will make a detour into the hinterland. Dinner and overnight stay at the hotel.

Day 4 | Szczecin

After breakfast, today's excursion takes you to the capital of the West Pomerania Voivodeship, the third largest city in Poland, which is also referred to as the Paris of the North, and not without reason. During the city tour, you will see among other things the Hakenterrasse above the Oder River, the city palace of the Pomeranian dukes, and much more. The crowning conclusion of the city tour is a visit to Café 22, a panoramic café on the 22nd floor, from which you have a fantastic view over the city and can enjoy it all comfortably with a good cup of coffee. Afterwards, you will have free time. Those who wish can take a boat tour from the Szczecin harbor. Dinner and overnight stay at the hotel.

Day 5 | Return Journey

Today it is time to say goodbye and “Do Widzenia”. After breakfast, you will begin your journey home.
