Day 1 | Arrival

Arrival in Munich. After room allocation at the hotel, the evening is at your leisure.

Day 2 | Munich – Nymphenburg Palace

Munich – a blend of urban flair and rural charm, alpine traditions and Mediterranean brilliance. A magical word, a city full of art, culture, and joie de vivre. A metropolis with a seductive flair. On a city tour, you will experience the sights from the luxurious Maximilianstraße or futuristic attractions like the BMW World. Stroll through the first-class delicatessen market, the Viktualienmarkt, with its vast array of delicacies from around the world. The magnificent Nymphenburg Palace awaits you in all its splendor. The baroque summer residence of the Bavarian electors and kings shines with its magnificent palace building and beautiful, expansive gardens. The rest of the day is at your leisure.

Day 3 | Herrenchiemsee Palace

Today you will head towards Chiemsee. Nestled in a breathtaking alpine backdrop lies the picturesque Chiemsee. By ship across the Bavarian Sea, you will head towards Herreninsel. A charming piece of land that inspired King Ludwig II to build an impressive palace. The competition was with Versailles and the Sun King, but Herrenchiemsee could never be completed due to Ludwig II's early death. Surrounded by mighty trees and a picturesque mountain backdrop, it resembles a historical painting. A palace tour offers insight into the splendor of past times. Afterwards, take a leisurely stroll in the beautifully landscaped park, a piece of heaven on earth. Return to Munich to your hotel and enjoy an individual evening program.

Day 4 | Neuschwanstein Castle – Wies Church

Idyllic and majestic, protected by its stone guardians, Neuschwanstein Castle rises prominently. As you ascend, Hohenschwangau Castle greets you, elegant in form and appearance. A fairy tale castle tour through the monumental building of Ludwig II shows the lavishly furnished chambers and magnificent wall paintings. Dare to step onto the dizzyingly high Marienbrücke and experience a unique view of the land and castle. On the way back to Munich, a detour takes you to the pilgrimage site of Steingaden. Here, visit the fascinating Wies Church, one of the most famous Rococo churches in the world. Back in Munich, enjoy an individual evening program.

Day 5 | Free Time – Return Journey

This morning is once again at your leisure. How about a visit to the English Garden? It is a prime example of a classical landscape garden and should not be missed in nice weather. Around noon, you will begin your journey home with many impressions and perhaps a souvenir or two in your luggage.
