You can enjoy a particularly beautiful view of this impressive river loop from the elevated Rose Garden, which also invites you to linger. During a guided city tour, you will discover the most beautiful sights of Bern: the imposing Federal Palace, seat of the Swiss government, the kilometer-long covered shopping arcades with their historic vaulted cellars – the so-called Lauben – as well as the famous “Zytglogge,” the medieval clock tower with its fascinating figurine play. The numerous fountains, small alleys, and lovingly preserved facades also give the old town its special charm.
