Day 1 | Arrival in Bamberg

Departure in the morning and drive to Bamberg. You have the opportunity for a stroll through the city center – perhaps with a visit to the cathedral, a walk along the Regnitz, or a first Franconian beer in one of the traditional inns. Welcome to Bamberg! In the afternoon, embarkation takes place. The crew warmly welcomes you on board with a welcome drink. Afterwards, enjoy your first dinner in the panorama salon.

Day 2 | Bamberg – Erlangen

Your first cycling stage begins in the UNESCO World Heritage city of Bamberg – a true gem of Franconia with medieval charm, narrow streets, and the famous old town. Your bike tour takes you through the meadows of the Regnitz Valley, visiting Forchheim, a small and cozy Franconian town, and finally reaching Erlangen. Erlangen is a city of Huguenots, beer, universities, and much more! Located in the heart of Franconia, the smallest Bavarian city shows at almost every corner why it is worth a visit – you will be amazed! After an eventful day, enjoy a delightful dinner and look forward to a restful overnight stay on board. Cycling tour approx. 58 km

Day 3 | Erlangen – Nuremberg

Your tour today takes you through flat landscapes and sandy pine forests, along river meadows, shaded by large oaks entwined with wild hops. Passing through Fürth – a detour into the city is worthwhile – the Regnitz cycle path leads you over the "Kettensteg" and "Henkersteg" to Nuremberg with its absolutely worth-seeing old town. You can expect a fascinating mix of medieval flair, impressive buildings, and modern urban culture. Back on board, the crew is already looking forward to pampering you and welcomes you to dinner in the stylish restaurant. Crown your day and enjoy the last rays of sunshine on the sun deck. Day 4 | Nuremberg – Roth

The historic Main-Danube Canal of King Ludwig I, also known as Ludwig Canal, is your constant companion today. It is one of the oldest canals in the world, with beautiful panoramas and once had 101 locks. At the end, you dive into the Rothsee National Park and reach the historic castle town of Hilpoltstein at the gates of the Franconian Lake District. You cycle leisurely a short distance along the canal to your mooring near Roth. Enjoy your dinner relaxed on board while the horizon is bathed in the warm light of the setting sun. Day 5 | Roth – Beilngries

This stage takes you through one of the most picturesque landscapes in Bavaria – the Altmühltal. Starting from Hilpoltstein, you set off on the well-signposted Altmühltal cycle path and follow the gently winding Main-Danube Canal. Passing lush green meadows, rugged rocks, and historic locks, you enjoy a relaxed ride through nature and history. In Beilngries, a charming old town with medieval flair awaits you – the perfect conclusion to a delightful cycling day. "Cast off and bon appétit" – the crew awaits you on board for dinner. Day 6 | Beilngries – Riedenburg

The heart of the Altmühltal awaits you – a true natural paradise! Numerous information boards along the way provide insight into the history of the region and the geological features of the Altmühltal. Along the way, there are several opportunities to recharge with a coffee or simply enjoy the tranquility of nature. Your tour's destination is the charming town of Riedenburg, also known as the "Pearl of the Altmühltal." Surrounded by castle ruins and wooded heights, it invites you to linger – a real insider tip for nature and culture lovers. Back on board, the spacious panorama salon with its royal flair invites you to stay – whether for a coffee, a cool drink, or a cozy chat. Day 7 | Riedenburg – Regensburg

Route profile: You will cycle along towpaths beside the canals or on quiet side roads, field and forest paths. Some longer climbs will need to be tackled, basic fitness is an advantage.

You decide how much you want to cycle! You can ride alone or in small groups for each variant. And if you ever feel like not going on a bike tour at all, just stay on board.

MS Casanova

A touch of Rococo and an elegant ambiance welcome you aboard the MS Casanova. Lovingly designed details, playful ornaments, and reproductions of famous paintings give the ship its own unique charm. In the stylish restaurant, the attentive crew takes care of your culinary needs. The spacious panorama lounge with its royal flair invites you to linger. Those who wish to enjoy the landscape outside will find comfortable loungers and seating on the partially covered sun deck (steep stairs). All 48 cabins are outside and equipped with shower, toilet, hairdryer, TV, safe (deposit), onboard telephone, and an individually adjustable ventilation system. In the cabins with two single beds, one can be converted into a sofa during the day for more comfort, while the cabins with double beds (160x200 cm) have separate mattresses. All 2-bed cabins are approximately 12 m² in size. Cabins on the main deck have panoramic windows that cannot be opened, while cabins on the upper deck have French balconies (= floor-to-ceiling windows that can be opened).
