The starting point of this varied journey to the Baltic Sea coast of Mecklenburg-Vorpommern is the idyllic Baltic seaside resort of Dierhagen, located between the Baltic Sea and Saaler Bodden at the entrance to the Fischland-Darß-Zingst peninsula. Miles of sandy beaches, dunes, forests, and Bodden waters make this region one of the most beautiful coastal landscapes in Germany and a protected natural area of the National Park 'Vorpommersche Boddenlandschaft'. Experience maritime flair in Rostock and Warnemünde, discover Stralsund's historic old town and the fascinating Ozeaneum, and enjoy a nostalgic ride on the steam-powered Molli train through the charming coastal landscape.

Day 1 | Arrival

Departure in the morning towards the Baltic Sea. In the late afternoon, you will reach your accommodation in Dierhagen. After room allocation and dinner, the nearby Baltic Sea invites you for a charming evening walk on the beach.

Day 2 | Hanseatic City of Rostock & Seaside Resort

Warnemünde

After a short drive, you will reach the picturesque Hanseatic city. With a local tour guide, you will start an informative round trip, followed by a walk through the city center of Rostock. You will follow the traces of the Hanseatic and university city, learning many exciting and interesting anecdotes. In the afternoon, you will visit the seaside resort of Warnemünde with its lighthouse and the "Teepott". Stroll along the Old Stream, the promenade of Warnemünde. Admire the historic fishermen's houses and the cruise ships anchored here.

Day 3 | Peninsula Fischland-Darß-Zingst

Accompanied by a local tour guide, you will discover the enchanting peninsula of Fischland-Darß-Zingst with its unique nature. The drive takes you through Wustrow, the artists' village of Ahrenshoop, the picturesque Wieck to the fashionable Baltic Sea resort of Zingst, where you will have a stay. On the return journey, you will visit **Born am Darß** with its colorful houses and artistically designed doors – a charming place that will captivate you.

Day 4 | Relaxation and Personal Discoveries

Design the day according to your wishes. Information and event notices are available at the hotel. Enjoy a beach walk or explore the surroundings by bike. Dinner and overnight stay at the hotel.

Day 5 | Stralsund & "Magical World of the Seas"

First, travel to the Ozeanum Stralsund, located in the harbor, next to the Gorch Fock I. You will experience a fascinating underwater world with various aquariums housing sharks, rays, and many other sea creatures. Afterwards, the tour guide will walk with you through the old town of the Hanseatic city and show you the most beautiful sights: gabled houses and historical brick Gothic architecture, such as the town hall and the St. Nikolai churches.

Day 6 | Historical Culture – Molli – Baltic Sea Resort

Your first excursion destination is Bad Doberan to visit the impressive Doberan Minster. With the historic steam narrow-gauge railway Molli, you will travel to the Baltic Sea resort of Kühlungsborn. Here, in the largest German Baltic Sea resort, you will have free time. The harbor mile with its small shops and the long beach promenade invite you to stroll. You will pass through Heiligendamm, the oldest German seaside resort on the Baltic coast, on your way back.

Day 7 | Return Journey

Today you will begin your journey home.
