Spring colors at Lake Garda

The deep blue Lake Garda is located in the foothills of the Alps in a valley between Veneto and Lombardy, as well as Trentino to the north. Day 1 | Arrival

Departure in the morning and drive to Riva del Garda. Room allocation and dinner with a welcome cocktail at the 4-star Hotel Savoy Palace.

Day 2 | The Feeling of Lake Garda

Today you will travel with your guide along the eastern side of Lake Garda to the south. Via Malcesine, you will reach the picturesque towns of Lazise, Garda, and Bardolino, finally arriving in the southernmost point, Sirmione. Here, there will be time for a leisurely stroll through the historic old town with its historical buildings and winding alleys. Of course, you will also enjoy a wine tasting with a small snack today. You will return to your hotel for dinner.

Day 3 | Verona, Arena, and Love

After breakfast, you will take an excursion to Verona. The local guide will show you the most famous landmarks of the World Heritage Site, such as the famous arena and the Scaliger monuments. Afterwards, you will have time to explore the city on your own. On the way back to Riva, you will take a coffee break at one of the Tonelli hotels by Lake Garda. Dinner and overnight stay at the hotel.

Day 4 | Boat Trip to the Lemon Riviera

After a short walk through the old alleys of Riva del Garda, you will take a boat trip to Limone on the famous “Lemon Riviera.” At the foot of a steep hillside, the charming village of Limone is built terraced along the lake. The houses are stacked against the rock, and the winding alleys of the picturesque old town are adorned with flowers. Above them are endless olive groves and quaint lemon gardens. Let yourself be enchanted by the charm of this small town and stroll through the picturesque alleys. Return by boat to Riva. Dinner and overnight stay at the hotel.

Day 5 | Trento

Today's excursion takes you through the valley of lakes, past the romantic Castle Toblino to the capital city of Trento – the unknown jewel on the Adige River. Here, world history took place during the Council of Trent from 1545 to 1563, in magnificent palaces and grand churches. You will discover numerous churches, stately houses, and buildings in the Gothic and Renaissance styles. Afterwards, stroll through the old town and the alleys with fresco-adorned facades and towers. On the way back to the hotel, we invite you to a grappa tasting at a typical local grappa distillery. Dinner and overnight stay at the hotel.

Day 6 | Return Journey

The family-run hotel is located only about 150 m from the beach and about 900 m along the lake to the old town, which is within walking distance.
