Day 1 | Maastricht – Hasselt

Departure in the morning and drive to Maastricht. During a guided tour, you will discover the historic old town. Afterwards, there will be plenty of time for your own explorations. In the afternoon, continue to Hasselt and check into the hotel. Individual evening arrangements. Enjoy the atmosphere at Zuivelmarkt.

Day 2 | Hasselt – Concert Visit

After a leisurely breakfast, you will discover cozy spots, historical heritage such as the St. Quintinus Cathedral, and contemporary arts during a city tour of Hasselt. Afterwards, you will have free time. In the evening, the highlight of the trip: Around 9:00 PM, the open-air concert by André Rieu begins at Vrijthof Square in Maastricht – and you will be there live. Few violinists can captivate such a wide audience and fill concert halls like the Dutchman. (End of the performance: approx. 00:30 AM). After the concert, return to the hotel.

Day 3 | Val-Dieu Monastery – Return Journey

After a good night's sleep, there will be plenty of time for breakfast. Afterwards, you will leave Hasselt. In the midst of the idyllic landscape of the Herver region lies the historic Abbey of Val-Dieu. During a guided tour of the abbey and brewery, you will discover eight centuries of abbey history. Of course, a beer and cheese tasting is a must. In the afternoon, you will begin your journey home.
