Travel Features
Itinerary
Day 1 | Arrival in Berlin
Departure in the morning and drive to Berlin. Check-in at the hotel.
Day 2 | Classic Berlin
You start with the "City Tour with Heart & Soul". The city tour gives you an initial overview, and you will see the Zoological Garden, City East with the street "Unter den Linden", Museum Island, as well as Potsdamer Platz and much more. The tour ends around noon, and you have plenty of time to explore this wonderful city on your own. Individual evening arrangements.
Day 3 | Green Berlin – Potsdam
Today you will take an excursion to Green Berlin. Our tour guide will accompany you on a drive along the Havel, through the Grunewald to the famous Wannsee. In addition to the idyllic impressions of vast greenery, there are many little stories and anecdotes about the Grunewald to lighten the mood. Before heading to Potsdam, you can enjoy the view of the Olympic grounds and the lush green areas of the metropolis from the bell tower at the Olympic Stadium. Continue to the state capital of Brandenburg, Potsdam. During a guided tour, you will discover the beauties of the state capital. Afterwards, you will have some free time.
Day 4 | Panoramapunkt Potsdamer Platz – The Political Berlin
You will explore the entire government and parliamentary district with our tour guide. You will see ministry buildings from all eras – from the Bismarck era to today – and discover architectural masterpieces in the embassy quarters. Your city guide will reveal some secrets and accompany you through the impressive political power center of Germany. You can enjoy a gigantic view from the Panoramapunkt Potsdamer Platz! With the fastest elevator in Europe, you won't even notice that you have already arrived at the viewpoint on the 25th floor. There is almost nothing you can't see from up here. Afterwards, you will visit the Hohenschönhausen Memorial. The memorial was established in 1994. Since large parts of the building and the furnishings have been preserved, they convey an authentic picture of the detention regime in the GDR. Usually, former prisoners guide visitors through the prison and report on the detention conditions and interrogation methods of the GDR State Security Service. The rest of the afternoon and evening are again at your disposal.
Day 5 | This was Zille's world...
And you will learn about this today on a city tour through Kreuzberg, Friedrichshain, and Prenzlauer Berg – from the working-class district to the multi-cultural melting pot. Afterwards, you will take a walk through Hackescher Markt and the Scheunenviertel (Jewish Berlin). The old Jewish quarter around Hackescher Markt offers a piece of old Berlin with its residential buildings and courtyards and has become a trendy area with cafés, galleries, and fashion designers. Nowhere else in Berlin are the past, present, and future so closely intertwined. The afternoon and evening are once again at your disposal.
