Day 1 | Arrival in Vienna
Departure in the morning and drive to the overnight stop in Vienna. You will stay in a good location with good access to the city center of Vienna. After checking into your room, enjoy a joint dinner at the hotel.
Day 2 | Vienna – Budapest
In the morning, you will get to know Vienna on a city tour. Magnificent buildings, historic squares, and the elegant Ringstraße provide a first impression of the Austrian capital. Afterwards, continue your journey via Győr to Budapest. Your hotel is located in the Buda district near the Castle Hill and offers good transport connections. After checking into your room, dinner awaits you at the hotel.
Day 3 | Hungary's Capital
On a grand city tour, you will discover Budapest and the two sides of the Hungarian capital. On the Pest side, you will see Heroes' Square and the City Park and drive along the magnificent Andrássy Avenue past the State Opera. Cross the Margaret Bridge to reach the Buda side with its historic Castle District. During a walk, you will discover the Main Guard, the Riding Hall, as well as the famous Fisherman's Bastion and Matthias Church. A visit to the Great Market Hall is also a must. In the evening, enjoy dinner at the traditional Hungarian restaurant BorLaBor with local specialties in a unique vaulted cellar ambiance.
Day 4 | Experience the Puszta
Travel with your guide to the vast, unspoiled landscape of the Puszta. In Kecskemét, the capital of the Puszta, you will take a guided walk and discover the most important sights and historical buildings. Afterwards, visit a traditional farm. After being welcomed with schnapps and Pogácsa, you will experience an impressive horse show. A romantic carriage ride takes you through the Puszta. For lunch, enjoy a typical 3-course menu before returning to Budapest. The evening is at your leisure.
