Musical Summer in Fulda

Day 1 | Arrival in Fulda – Musical Visit

Departure in the morning and drive to Fulda. During a guided tour, you will receive a compact overview of the Baroque city. Afterwards, you will have time for an individual lunch break. Then, you will attend the musical "The Rider on the White Horse" at the Schlosstheater (performance starts at 2:00 PM). The mystery musical celebrated its world premiere in Fulda in 2026 and is full of poetry, suspense, and great emotions. Based on the famous novella by Theodor Storm, you will experience a visually stunning and emotional production on stage, where dance, music, and magic merge into an unforgettable theater experience. After the performance, you will stroll through the picturesque castle garden to the hotel (about 700 m walk). If the rooms are not ready for check-in by noon, you will check in afterwards. Then, you will end the evening with dinner and can reflect together on the impressions of the musical.

Day 2 | Free Time – Gelnhausen – Return Journey

Use the morning for a city stroll through the Baroque city. Discover new things while shopping in the city center, relax with a break in one of the many cozy street cafés, and notice the many details of the city as you walk by. In the afternoon, you will leave Fulda and begin your journey home. In Gelnhausen, you will make a stop. Stroll through the winding, historic old town or stop for an individual lunch in one of the restaurants.
