Itinerary

Day 1 | Arrival in Styria

Departure in the morning and drive to Southeast Styria. A warm welcome at the hotel, check-in, and then a joint drink before dinner.

Day 2 | White Horses & Colorful Glasses 

The first destination is the Lipizzaner Stud Piber, home to the famous Lipizzaner stallions of the Spanish Riding School. During the visit, you will experience the “imperial white horses” up close. Afterwards, you will visit the colorful Hundertwasser Church in Bärnbach. To conclude, you will visit the picturesque ruins of Ligist Castle with its historic charm and magnificent views. Back at the hotel, you will end the day with a cozy dinner featuring Styrian delicacies and atmospheric accordion music, typical of Styria.

Day 3 | South Styrian Wine Road

Today, you will follow the trail of “green gold” and learn interesting facts about Styrian pumpkin seed oil. Afterwards, visit the Bishop's Castle Seggau with its lapidarium and the largest historical bell in Styria. In the wine cellar, a wine tasting awaits you. You will conclude the day with a Styrian “Buschenschank” snack, enjoying a wonderful view of the “Styrian Tuscany.”

Day 4 | Enjoyment & Culture around Riegersburg

Today's excursion takes you to the hilly volcanic landscape known for its culinary delights and traditional manufactories. At the Vulcano ham manufactory, you will gain insights into sustainable production during a tour and then enjoy the finest air-dried ham and other specialties. Passing by Riegersburg, you will head to the Gölles manufactory, where you will discover and taste the world of fine spirits and vinegar. The day concludes with a visit to the Zotter chocolate manufactory, featuring an exciting tasting tour, glass insights into production, and creative tasting stations.

Day 5 | Discover Graz 

The Styrian capital Graz – a UNESCO World Heritage site, culinary capital, and vibrant cultural metropolis awaits you. During a leisurely stroll through the old town, you will discover historical landmarks, charming courtyards, and narrow alleys, including the clock tower on the Schlossberg, the city's landmark. Afterwards, you will experience Styrian everyday culture from rural tradition to the present at the Folk Museum. Then, you will have free time.

Day 6 | Return Journey

With many beautiful impressions in your luggage, you will begin your journey home.
