The third largest inland lake in Central Europe fascinates its visitors with emerald green water, snow-capped mountains, and an atmosphere reminiscent of the Italian Riviera. In addition, numerous attractions and historic cities like Bregenz, Lindau, or St. Gallen provide a unique diversity. A trip to the nearby Principality of Liechtenstein, the fourth smallest country in Europe, should not be missed during a stay in this region. Here, it's time to get in, marvel, experience & enjoy!

Day 1 | Arrival

Departure in the morning and drive to Schruns-Tschagguns, a mountain village in Montafon. You will be warmly welcomed at the hotel. Check-in and dinner.

Day 2 | Silvretta High Alpine Experience

An impressive natural experience awaits you on this excursion into the high alpine world of Silvretta. From Partenen, the ascent with the Vermuntbahn takes you comfortably up into the mountains. Then, the tunnel bus continues through the mountain tunnels to Bielerhöhe at around 2,000 m above sea level. Upon arrival, a fascinating high mountain landscape unfolds around the Silvretta reservoir. Enjoy the clear mountain air and the wonderful view on a leisurely walk along the shore. For a break, the mountain restaurants offer a chance to soak in the special atmosphere of the Alps while enjoying lunch or coffee and cake (not included). In the afternoon, return with the tunnel bus and the Vermuntbahn.

Day 3 | Vaduz – Liechtenstein – Feldkirch

Drive to Vaduz, the capital of Liechtenstein. The tour with the "Citytrain" takes you through the historic Old Vaduz and past the vineyards. At the tourism office, you can also purchase a souvenir stamp as a memento of your visit to the principality. After some free time in Vaduz, continue to Feldkirch, a charming medieval town in the heart of Vorarlberg. Explore the town with its medieval arcades and winding alleys or enjoy a coffee in one of the cozy cafés. From there, continue to the impressive Schattenburg, which majestically overlooks the town. This medieval castle, once the seat of the Counts of Montfort, not only offers an impressive collection of historical artifacts but also a breathtaking view over Feldkirch and the surrounding landscape. A visit to the castle museum provides interesting insights into the history of the region. Return to the hotel and enjoy dinner together at the hotel.

Day 4 | Bregenz and Lindau

Today you will visit Bregenz, the capital of Vorarlberg. With a city guide, you will start a tour. Enjoy the lakeside promenade with the harbor on the shores of Lake Constance and the medieval upper town. Afterwards, take a boat towards Lindau, whose old town is located on an island in Lake Constance. Behind the famous harbor entrance with the Bavarian lion and white lighthouse, the impressive panorama of the Alps and Lake Constance unfolds. Use your free time for a stroll through Lindau. Return to the hotel and enjoy dinner together at the hotel.

Day 5 | St. Gallen and Appenzell

Today you will travel to St. Gallen, which enchants with its picturesque old town and rich historical heritage. The Abbey District with the cathedral and abbey library is a UNESCO World Heritage Site. After a city tour, visit the Appenzeller cheese dairy. Discover during your visit to the cheese dairy why Appenzeller cheese is the spiciest cheese of all. Afterwards, there will be some time left for a stroll through the main street of Appenzell with its colorful houses. Return to the hotel and dinner.

Day 6 | Return Journey

After breakfast, begin your journey home.

The 4-star hotel is located on the outskirts of Tschagguns in Montafon, in close proximity to the ski areas Silvretta Montafon and Golm.
