Enjoy a diverse summer trip to Hanover. Look forward to the historic half-timbered town of Goslar as well as Hanover's romantic old town with its charming half-timbered architecture that invites you to stroll. Discover the magnificent Herrenhausen Gardens, one of the most significant Baroque gardens in Europe, and of course experience the lively Maschsee Festival – Hanover's largest summer and lake festival with live music, international specialties, and maritime flair. A journey full of culture, garden art, and Northern German joie de vivre awaits you.

Day 1 | Goslar - Hannover

Departure in the morning and drive to Goslar. The thousand-year-old imperial city of Goslar captivates with its World Heritage status, medieval flair, and fascinating history. During a city tour, you will discover the most important sights. Afterwards, there is free time before you continue to Hannover to your hotel. Room allocation and dinner.

Day 2 | Summer Flair in Hannover

In the morning, you will discover Hannover's sights during a city tour/walk. The historic half-timbered backdrop of the old town is one of the special highlights of the city. To conclude, you will take the arch lift to the nearly 100-meter-high dome of the New Town Hall, a technically unique construction in Europe. The lift changes direction after a few meters and glides upwards at an angle of up to 17 degrees. From there, you have a wonderful view over the city and region. Afterwards, you have free time for your own program. The large pedestrian zone, the Ernst-August-Galerie, and the elegant shopping arcades invite you to shop. The atmospheric Maschsee Festival welcomes you with live music, international specialties, and maritime flair. Individual evening arrangements. Our bus will take you to the Maschsee Festival and return you to the hotel around 10:00 PM.

Day 3 | Hannover – Royal Garden Splendor

This will make the hearts of "garden fans" beat faster: You will visit the world-famous Herrenhausen Gardens. Experience garden art and culture at the highest level. This gem of baroque garden art is thanks to an extraordinary woman: Electress Sophie of the Palatinate. Inspired by the Sun King Louis XIV, she had the Great Garden laid out at the end of the 17th century based on French, Italian, and Dutch models, making it her life's work. Stroll through one of the best-preserved baroque gardens in Europe – the Great Garden – with its over 300-year history and be inspired by intricate patterns of boxwood, marble gravel, and colorful flower beds. The afternoon is at your leisure – for a stroll through the old town, a visit to the Erlebnis-Zoo Hannover, or a relaxing stay at the Maschsee and the Maschsee Festival. You will return to the hotel for dinner.

Day 4 | Fritzlar – Return Journey

Today it is time to say goodbye. The return journey takes you to the cathedral and imperial city of Fritzlar with its impressive half-timbered backdrop and medieval old town. After some free time, you will begin your journey home.

For a sociable end to the day, the hotel bar is a great option. It is a popular meeting point in the evening. From the bar, you have direct access to the beer garden.
