Day 1 | Serengeti Park Hodenhagen – Arrival

Departure in the morning and drive towards the Lüneburg Heath. The first stop of your journey is the Serengeti Park in Hodenhagen. Here, you can observe over 1,500 free-roaming animals on the vast grounds of the park. You will take a bus ride of about 1 hour through the 10 km long wildlife area in a double-decker bus and then have some free time. Continue to your hotel in Bispingen-Behringen. Check-in and dinner.

Day 2 | Celle – Horse-drawn Carriage Ride

After breakfast, you will drive to the picturesque town of Celle. It is known for its largest and most compact half-timbered ensemble in Europe. You will have free time to explore. In the afternoon, you will take a cozy horse-drawn carriage ride from Oberhaverbeck, the entrance to the car-free nature reserve Lüneburg Heath, through wide heathlands to the heath village of Wilsede. During a short break, you will have the opportunity to visit the Heath Museum individually. Afterwards, you will return to your starting point in Oberhaverbeck via Steingrund and Turmberg.

Day 3 | Hanseatic City of Bremen – Worpswede

Drive to Bremen – the vibrant heart of Northwest Germany and the hometown of the world-famous Bremen Town Musicians. During a guided tour through the historic city center, discover the highlights of the Free Hanseatic City of Bremen. The marketplace with the magnificent town hall and the stone Roland – added to the UNESCO World Heritage List in June 2004 – is the “living room” of the Hanseatic city. Individual lunch break. On the way back to the hotel, you will make a stop in Worpswede. The charming artists' village on the edge of the Devil's Moor invites you to linger and stroll.

Day 4 | Schneverdingen – Moor Train

Drive to the heath flower city of Schneverdingen. Here you will meet your tour guide, who will accompany you on a combined city tour/walk. You will see the oldest house in Schneverdingen, the bronze figure of the heath queen, and the legendary town fountain at the town hall. By bus, you will continue to the unique heath garden with over 180 different types of heather before experiencing the Heidschnucken grazing at the sheep barn in Höpen. To conclude, you will visit the Peter and Paul Church, the landmark of the city since 1746. After an individual lunch break in Schneverdingen, you will continue to Tiste. During a ride on the moor train, you will discover the moor in a very comfortable way.
