Itinerary
Day 1 | Arrival in Großarl
Departure in the morning and drive to Großarl. You will be warmly welcomed at the hotel. Check-in and dinner.
Day 2 | Königssee – Kehlsteinhaus
After breakfast, you will drive to Königssee. Enjoy the magnificent panorama during the boat trip to St. Bartholomew, the landmark of the lake with the famous pilgrimage church. Surrounded by imposing cliffs, the mountain lake resembles a fjord and will enchant you with its emerald green color. Afterwards, you will head to scenic viewpoints and visit the Kehlsteinhaus, also known as Eagles Nest. With the luxurious Kehlstein lift, you will comfortably ascend via the impressive Kehlsteinstraße to an altitude of 1,834 m. Once at the top, a breathtaking panorama over the Salzach Valley awaits you. You will return to your hotel for dinner.
Day 3 | Free Time
Today is entirely yours. Perhaps you will take a short hike in the area or simply relax. Dinner and music evening at the hotel.
Day 4 | Dachstein Tour
Today you will take a tour along the Salzburg Dolomites Road to Gosausee. After a short walk to the dam, from which you have a wonderful view of the Gosau Glacier, the journey continues to the picturesque Hallstätter See. Lunch break in Hallstatt. Passing by Bad Aussee and Bad Mitterndorf, we will reach Schladming in the Ennstal in the afternoon. Take a stroll through the old mountain town and enjoy a coffee at the main square. Afterwards, return to Großarl. Dinner and overnight stay.
Day 5 | Mozart City Salzburg
Today you can look forward to an excursion to the Mozart city of Salzburg. During a guided tour, you will be introduced to the most beautiful sides of the city. No other city offers so many churches in a small area, and hardly any other city has so much historical significance. Stroll through the gardens of Mirabell Palace, experience the charming old town, and of course the famous Getreidegasse. After this impressive and interesting tour, you will have the rest of the day at your leisure to explore Salzburg and enjoy the delicious local specialties of the Salzburg region. Dinner and overnight stay at the hotel.
Day 6 | Return Journey
Wonderful vacation days come to an end, and you will begin your journey home, packed with many beautiful impressions in your travel luggage.

4-Star Hotel Alte Post in Großarl
The 4-star hotel is located in the center of Großarl, in the heart of Salzburg. The rooms are situated in the Toni and Maria houses and feature a bathtub or shower, WC, hairdryer, TV, radio, telephone, and Wi-Fi. The rooms are divided between two buildings – connected by an underground tunnel (approximately 1 minute walking time between the two buildings). The hotel has a wellness area with a pine spa and indoor pool.
