Day 1 | Overnight Stay

Departure in the morning and drive towards Chiemgau/Salzburg region for an overnight stay. Dinner and overnight stay at the hotel.

Day 2 | Arrival in Poreč

After breakfast, you will continue your journey to Poreč. Here, you will be warmly welcomed at the 5-star Valamar Collection Pical Resort. Room allocation and dinner.

Day 3 | Rovinj and Limfjord

Enjoy a rich breakfast buffet. Afterwards, you will embark on a discovery tour through the charming Rovinj. Enjoy breathtaking views and the unique charm of this city during a guided walk through its winding streets. In the afternoon, you will take a boat trip along the Limfjord. This bay stretches almost 12 kilometers into the untouched karst landscape and impresses with its crystal-clear water. The steep, wooded slopes and the interplay of fresh and saltwater create a unique ecosystem, known among other things for oyster farming. A tasting including a glass of wine, bread, and olive oil is, of course, a must! You will return to your hotel for dinner.

Day 4 | Istria – The Hinterland

After breakfast, you will set off for a full-day excursion into the interior of Istria. This region resembles Tuscany and enchants with vineyards, hiking trails, truffle forests, and picturesque mountain villages. First, you will visit Pazin with its impressive fortress perched over a gorge. Then, you will continue to Motovun, surrounded by vineyards. The bus will stop on the outskirts of Motovun, from where you will continue by shuttle bus. This medieval town, located on a steep hill in the Mirna Valley, delights with its ancient city gates, palaces, and churches. During lunch at a konoba with a winemaker, you will enjoy the Istrian classic – Fuži with truffles and a glass of regional wine. From the terrace, there is a beautiful view of the Mirna Valley. Your last stop is the village of Grožnjan, known for its old town, the baroque parish church, and the city gallery. Return to the hotel and dinner.

Day 5 | Pula and Brijuni National Park

Today, the journey takes you to the south of the Istrian peninsula. Pula is known for its Roman buildings, foremost the impressive amphitheater from the 1st century. Then, you will continue to the Brijuni National Park. From Fažana, you will take a boat to the 14 islands (about 15 minutes), which offer a fascinating combination of natural beauty and historical heritage. On the Brijuni islands, you will take the island train and discover the wildlife with fallow deer and mouflons as well as almost 200 fossilized dinosaur footprints. Attractions also include the Archaeological Museum in a Venetian fortress, the Gothic St. Germanus Church, the natural history collection, and the exhibition “Tito in Brijuni.” You will return to your hotel for dinner.

Day 6 | Free Time

Today is entirely yours! Enjoy the luxurious offerings of the hotel or take a walk on the beach.

Day 7 | Return Journey

After breakfast, it is time to say goodbye, and you will embark on your journey home with many beautiful memories.
