Itinerary
Day 1 | Arrival
Departure in the morning and drive to the island of Rügen. Room allocation and dinner.
Day 2 | Northern Rügen
In the morning, you will take an excursion with a knowledgeable tour guide via Sassnitz to the Stubbenkammer. Through the enchanting beech forest of the Jasmund National Park, you will reach the Königsstuhl and the Victoria viewpoint. The path continues through the Schaabe, and soon you will reach the northernmost point of the island of Rügen – Cape Arkona. You will take the Arkona train to the small fishing village of Vitt. From there, you will hike along the high cliffs to the cape, to the two lighthouses. You will return to your hotel for dinner.
Day 3 | Island of Hiddensee
Today, you will take a trip to the island of Hiddensee. After crossing by ferry, you will have time to admire the sights of the car-free island, which has been under strict nature and landscape protection since 1990, and get to know the land and its people during a carriage ride. In the afternoon, return by ferry to the island of Rügen and then by bus to the hotel.
Day 4 | Free Time
You can spend today according to your own ideas. The traffic-free promenade leads directly from the IFA Rügen Hotel & Ferienpark to the historic town center with its pier and impressive buildings in the style of spa architecture.
Day 5 | UNESCO World Heritage Stralsund
After breakfast, you will take an excursion to the Hanseatic city of Stralsund – architecturally unique and historically significant, located on the Strelasund. Get to know the old town of Stralsund with a tour guide. Afterwards, you will have some free time. Return to your hotel for dinner.
Day 6 | Southern Rügen
Today, we invite you on an excursion to the former KDF resort Prora, then continue via the district town of Bergen to the former residence of the Prince of Putbus – namely to Putbus. You will have the opportunity to visit the castle park with its monument to the prince during a walk. Continuing along the old spa road to Mönchgut. From the “Zickerchen Bergen,” you will have a wonderful view over the Greifswalder Bodden. You will return to Binz with the Rasender Roland. Dinner and overnight stay at the hotel.
Day 7 | Return Journey
With many beautiful impressions in your travel luggage, you will begin your journey home after breakfast.
