The island of Malta is a landscape and culturally fascinating island in the Mediterranean. It enchants with its original charm, historic towns and villages, plenty of nature, and dreamy bathing bays – a wonderful oasis that promises delightful holiday moments full of sunshine. During your stay, you will discover the astonishing diversity of the smallest country in the European Union and get to know an island that, despite its millennia-old history, has a modern, youthful, and above all, extremely multifaceted face.

Day 1 | Arrival – Mdina

Transfer from BOHR Island to the airport in Luxembourg and flight to Malta. You will be warmly welcomed at the airport. Drive in a local coach to the ancient capital Mdina. Here you can stop for lunch at one of the numerous cafés or restaurants. Afterwards, you will receive a small guided tour of the medieval city before heading to the hotel. Check-in and dinner at the hotel.

Day 2 | Valletta

Experience Malta's capital on a guided tour and witness Malta's vibrant past. Detailed explanations will bring you closer to the history of Valletta, which is directly linked to the two major sieges of 1565 and 1942. Furthermore, you will visit the Upper Barracca Gardens and enjoy the view of the natural harbor Grand Harbour. You will visit the magnificent St. John’s Co-Cathedral and admire Caravaggio's masterpiece in the Oratory. Malta's history and culture will also be presented to you in an audiovisual show.

Day 3 | Gozo – the green neighboring island

After a short twenty-minute crossing, you will arrive at Mgarr Harbor, which will immediately prepare you for the unique atmosphere of Gozo. After visiting Dwejra and a photo stop at the salt pans, you will visit the medieval citadel in Victoria. Gozo is famous for its crafts, especially hand-made lace and knitted wool items. Before heading back to the hotel, you will also get to know the fjord-like bay in Xlendi.

Day 4 | Day at leisure

You can spend today freely according to your wishes.

Day 5 | Mosta – prehistoric south &

colorful fishing village

Today you will travel to the south of the island. There is the possibility to visit the famous Blue Grotto (boat trip weather permitting and to be paid on site, approx. €8 per person). Afterwards, you will explore the oldest prehistoric temple of Hagar Qim. In the picturesque fishing village of Marsaxlokk with its colorful boats, you will make a stop. On the way back, you will also visit the impressive dome church in Mosta.

Day 6 | Return journey

An eventful journey comes to an end, and it is time to say goodbye to the enchanting island. Transfer to the airport in Malta and return flight to Luxembourg. Let the impressions of the past days pass in review once more. Return transfer to BOHR Island.

The exclusive hotel is located in the north of the island.
