Before boarding the MS France, there is still some time for an individual stroll through the Christmas market. Among the historic half-timbered houses, sparkling fairy lights, and the scent of cinnamon and fir, you will experience an incomparable Christmas atmosphere. After settling into your cabin, you will meet the crew of the MS France at a welcome reception and then take your seats in the restaurant. While you enjoy your dinner, your hotel ship will set sail for a mini-cruise. Experience the magic of this special and comfortable way of traveling – if you are not yet part of the river cruise community, from this evening on, you will be. Day 2 | Christmas Market in Colmar – Return Journey

After breakfast, it’s time to say goodbye to the MS France and its crew. Your coach is already waiting for you, and you will begin your return journey. In Colmar, you will make a stop and have the opportunity to stroll through the Christmas market, which is among the most beautiful in Europe. The picturesque old town of Colmar transforms into a festively illuminated winter fairy tale during the Advent season. Between historic half-timbered houses, lovingly decorated streets, and atmospheric squares, you will find several unique Christmas markets featuring handcrafted products, regional specialties, and festive music. With many beautiful and surely new impressions in your travel luggage, you will head home.

A ship launched in 2001 (renovated in 2016) by the French shipping company CroisiEurope. The ship is 110 m long, 11 m wide, and has 78 cabins on 2 decks. All cabins are equipped with a shower, toilet, hairdryer, TV, safe, two beds, radio, and panoramic windows. The public areas, such as the air-conditioned lounge with bar and the restaurant where meals (breakfast buffet and table-served dinner) are served, are tastefully and friendly furnished.
