Itinerary
Day 1 | Arrival
Departure in the morning and drive to Dagebüll in North Frisia to the hotel.
Day 2 | Island of Föhr - Frisian Caribbean
Just a few steps from the hotel is the ferry terminal. After about 50 minutes, you will reach Wyk auf Föhr, the main town of the “Frisian Caribbean.” Miles of sandy beaches, green nature, a mild coastal climate, and the characteristic thatched-roof houses give the island its special charm. On a round trip of the island, you will discover the most beautiful places of Föhr. Afterwards, there will be time for a stroll along the Wyker beach promenade or a walk on the beach. In the late afternoon, the ferry will take you back to the mainland.
Day 3 | Schlüttsiel – Hallig Hooge
You will travel to Schlüttsiel and take the ferry to Hallig Hooge, the “Queen of the Halligen.” The journey takes you through the Wadden Sea National Park with seal banks and numerous seabirds. On Hooge, a wagon ride will take you to the most important sights, including the Königspesel, the storm surge cinema, and the Hallig church. To conclude, there will be time for a stop at the Friesenpesel (costs at your own expense). In the late afternoon, return by ferry and bus to Dagebüll.
Day 4 | Island of Sylt
You will take the bus to Niebüll and from there by train to the famous North Sea island of Sylt. Look forward to wide beaches, dune landscapes, idyllic island villages, and the lively Westerland. On a round trip of the island, you will get to know the most beautiful sides of Sylt. Afterwards, there will be time for a stroll, a fish sandwich, or a cup of Frisian tea. Return by train over the Hindenburg Dam and continue to the hotel.
Day 5 | Flensburg
The excursion first leads to Glücksburg Water Castle for a photo stop. Afterwards, you will discover the historic old town of Flensburg with its picturesque alleys and maritime harbor on a city tour. Then there will be free time before you return to Dagebüll.
Day 6 | Free time at the North Sea
The day is at your leisure. Take a walk on the beach, explore the surroundings by bike (rental fee extra), or take a trip to the island of Amrum (ferry crossing for a fee).
Day 7 | Return journey
With many vacation experiences in your luggage, you will begin your journey home.

The family-run Strandhotel Dagebüll is located directly on the dike and just a few steps from the ferry terminal – ideal for excursions to Föhr, Amrum, and the Halligen. The comfortably furnished rooms feature a bathtub or shower, toilet, hairdryer, TV, and Wi-Fi. In the restaurant with terrace, you can enjoy regional specialties and a wonderful view of the Wadden Sea.
