Itinerary

Day 1 | Arrival in the Milan Area

Departure in the morning and travel to the Milan area for an overnight stay.

Day 2 | Milan – Montecatini Terme

Milan, Italy's secret capital, showcases unique architectural and artistic treasures such as the world-famous opera house "La Scala" and its majestic cathedral. In the afternoon, you will continue to Tuscany – to Montecatini Terme.

Day 3 | Pisa – Viareggio

In the morning, you will visit Pisa. The incomparable artistic treasures on the Campo dei Miracoli, the Square of Miracles, have secured Pisa's status as a maritime power in the Middle Ages. You will spend the afternoon in the Tuscan seaside resort of Viareggio, which welcomed its first holidaymakers as early as the 19th century. After a guided tour, the rest of the day is yours to enjoy. Relax on the fine sandy beach, stroll through chic shops, or savor the regional delicacies in one of the many cafés and restaurants.

Day 4 | Siena – San Gimignano

Travel to Siena, one of the most beautiful cities in Italy. The highlight of this significant art city is the Piazza del Campo, the shell-shaped square where the famous horse race "Palio" takes place every year. The impressive Gothic cathedral made of white and black marble is also a top attraction. Afterwards, you will visit San Gimignano. The countless noble towers have earned San Gimignano the nickname "Manhattan of the Middle Ages."

Day 5 | Lucca – Wine Tasting

Lucca, the "City of 100 Churches." Mighty walls encircle the city in a seemingly insurmountable ring. Admire the Church of San Michele with its beautiful façade and large square, which was once a Roman forum, the birthplace of Giacomo Puccini, and the Roman amphitheater. In the afternoon, we invite you to a wine tasting and snack at a vineyard in Montecarlo-Lucca.

Day 6 | Florence

One of the most significant art metropolises in the world is on the agenda – Florence (UNESCO World Heritage Site). The undisputed landmark is the cathedral with the gigantic dome designed by architect Brunelleschi. Other classics include the world-famous Uffizi Gallery, the Baptistery with the Gates of Paradise, and the Piazza della Signoria with the Palazzo Vecchio. In front of this stood for almost four centuries the "most beautiful man of the Renaissance" – Michelangelo's world-famous David. A favorite subject for every camera is the Ponte Vecchio, the oldest bridge over the Arno.

Day 7 | Free Time

Today is entirely at your disposal. Explore Montecatini Terme with its elegant streets and traditional thermal baths or enjoy the Italian way of life with a cappuccino in one of the cozy cafés.
