Hanse Sail Rostock
Mecklenburg Lake District
At the Hanse Sail, the largest annual traditional sailing event in the world, the Hanseatic and university city of Rostock once again transforms into a maritime festival mile. Since 1991, the Hanse Sail has been delighting its guests with maritime experiences, entertainment, culture, and international flair. A fleet of more than 100 traditional and museum ships – the heart of the Hanse Sail – docks at the quayside, inviting visitors to marvel and sail along. On land, many event areas offer variety and diverse experiences.
