Day 1 | Arrival

Departure in the morning and travel to Tannheim in Tyrol. Surrounded by impressive mountain peaks, lush green meadows, and a magnificent alpine landscape, the Tannheimer Tal awaits you. You will be warmly welcomed at the hotel with a heartfelt "Grüß Gott". After room allocation, you can unwind from the first day of vacation with a joint dinner.

Day 2 | Nature Reserve Vilsalpsee

After breakfast, the Alpenexpress will take you in about 20 minutes to the idyllic Vilsalpsee. In the nature reserve, you will find an impressive landscape with clear mountain lakes and a unique alpine backdrop. Enjoy your time with a walk, a cozy stop, or simply by taking in the nature. In the afternoon, return to the hotel with the Alpenexpress.

Day 3 | Discovering the Alps

Today, you will discover some highlights of the region with a local tour guide. You will visit the famous Wieskirche in Steingaden, a UNESCO World Heritage site and a masterpiece of Rococo. Afterwards, experience Oberammergau with its artistic Lüftl paintings and the Benedictine monastery of Ettal with its impressive monastery complex. Return to the hotel for dinner.

Day 4 | Free Time

Design today according to your wishes. Enjoy the beautiful mountain world with a ride on the summer cable cars, take a hike, or simply let the special atmosphere of the Tannheimer Tal work its magic on you. Tips and information are available at the hotel reception or the local tourist office.

Day 5 | On Foot

After breakfast, you will start directly from the hotel for a guided short hike. Experience the clear mountain air, wonderful views, and the diverse nature of the Tyrolean high valley. The afternoon is at your leisure.

Day 6 | Oberstdorf

You will visit Oberstdorf, the southernmost town in Germany. During a city tour, you will discover the most beautiful places and sights of the well-known Allgäu holiday resort. Afterwards, there will be time for your own explorations or a stroll through the town center. In the afternoon, return to Tannheim. Use the remaining time according to your wishes – the use of the participating summer mountain railways is already included in the local tax.

Day 7 | Free Time

You will spend your last vacation day once again according to your wishes. Use the time for a leisurely stroll through Tannheim or enjoy the magnificent views of the Tyrolean Alps on a final mountain ride.

Day 8 | Return Journey

After an eventful few days in the Tyrolean mountains, you will begin your journey home after breakfast.

The hotel represents a blend of traditional charm and modern ambiance, where a family-friendly atmosphere, Tyrolean hospitality, and the highest quality come together. The hotel consists of two interconnected buildings – underground through a heated corridor. Both buildings contain rooms, with one house additionally housing the reception and the restaurant. In the other building, you will also find the wellness area. The spacious rooms are designed in a charming country house style and feature a bathtub or shower and toilet, telephone, TV, radio, and safe. The wellness area offers an indoor pool with a small Kneipp facility, five different saunas, a steam bath, an ice fountain, and a beauty area.
