Tannheimer Valley

Day 1 | Arrival in the most beautiful high valley in Europe

Departure in the morning and travel to Tannheim in Tyrol. You will be warmly welcomed at the hotel with a heartfelt "Grüß Gott". Room allocation and dinner.

Day 2 | Nature Reserve Vilsalpsee

After breakfast, a 20-minute ride on the Alpine Express takes you to a fairy-tale landscape, directly into the Vilsalpsee nature reserve. Opportunities to stop for refreshments, stroll, or simply enjoy the beautiful winter landscape. In the afternoon, you return to your hotel.

Day 3 | Panoramic Drive

Today, you will travel with a local guide to Steingaden to visit the Wies Church – a pilgrimage church and one of the most famous Rococo churches in the world, designated a UNESCO World Heritage Site since 1983. Also on your sightseeing program are Oberammergau, the cradle of Lüftl painting and world-famous for its Passion Plays, as well as the Benedictine monastery of Ettal, probably the most beautiful Rococo sacristy in southern Germany. Return to the hotel and dinner.

Day 4 | Oberstdorf

After breakfast, you will visit Oberstdorf, the southernmost town in Germany, known for its winter sports events. The most famous sights include the Heini-Klopfer ski flying hill and the Oberstdorf ski flying hill. A city tour will show you the most beautiful spots and sights. The town center is diverse and invites you to linger and stroll. In the afternoon, you return to your holiday accommodation. Explore your holiday region on your own or relax in the hotel's wellness area – according to your preference. Dinner and overnight stay at the hotel.

Day 5 | Free Time

Today is entirely yours. Tips and information about carriage rides, gondola operations, hiking suggestions, etc., are available at the hotel reception or the local tourism office.

Day 6 | On Foot

Breakfast at the hotel. From the hotel, you start a guided short hike. The crystal-clear air, the radiant blue sky, and the winter wonderland of the Tyrolean high valley await to inspire you. Dinner and overnight stay at the hotel.

Day 7 | Kempten

You will take an excursion to the lively Allgäu metropolis of Kempten and experience the 2,000-year history of the city on a varied city tour. Afterwards, there is free time for your own activities. In the afternoon, you return to your hotel.

Day 8 | Return Journey

Eventful days in the Tannheimer Tal come to an end. After breakfast, the return journey begins.

The hotel consists of two interconnected buildings – underground through a heated corridor. Both buildings contain rooms, with one house additionally housing the reception and the restaurant. In the other building, you will also find the wellness area. The wellness area offers an indoor pool with a small Kneipp facility, 5 different saunas, steam bath, ice fountain, and a beauty area.
