Day 3 | The 5 Terre from Mountain and Sea
In the morning, you will reach La Spezia by bus. From here, you will take a boat to Portovenere, often referred to as the "forgotten sixth village of the Cinque Terre." You will have time to explore this picturesque harbor town, with its colorful house facades and medieval alleys. Afterwards, you will continue by boat to Monterosso. Here, the Italian holiday life pulses! Monterosso remains a quaint fishing village full of charm, and the view over the sea is breathtaking. In the late afternoon, you will return by train to La Spezia, where our bus will be waiting to take you back to the hotel.
Day 4 | Lucca – Wine Tasting
Drive to Lucca. Entering through one of the old city gates transports you to another world: narrow alleys, wide squares, Romanesque churches, and medieval towers tell of a rich past that is lovingly preserved here. After a city tour and some free time, we invite you to a wine tasting with a hearty snack at a farm. In good spirits, you will return to your hotel. Dinner and overnight stay.
Day 5 | Levanto – Manarola – Riomaggiore
After breakfast, you will take the bus to Levanto and then continue by train to Manarola. Manarola is a place that looks as if someone painted the most beautiful colors of Italy on a steep cliff. The pastel-colored houses cling closely to each other, climbing the cliffs and looking out over the endless blue of the Ligurian Sea. In the afternoon, you will reach Riomaggiore by train, the first village of the Cinque Terre. In the town center, steep stairs and narrow alleys lead through the historic center, characterized by small shops, trattorias, and wine bars. You will return to La Spezia by train. Return by bus to your hotel and dinner.
