Day 1 | Arrival in Salzburg Land

Departure in the morning and drive to Wagrain, in the beautiful Salzburg Land. Welcome to the Sporthotel Wagrain! Fresh, regional, and seasonal is the kitchen's motto, look forward to a wonderful dinner.

Day 2 | Getting to know Wagrain

After a good night's sleep and a hearty breakfast buffet, you start the day with a guided tour to get to know your holiday destination. The village is located at an altitude of 850 m and consists of two "town centers". Markt and Kirchboden are the two districts, each with its own church. Noteworthy is the “Silent Night” Museum in the Pflegerschlössl, which informs about the famous Christmas carol and its poet Joseph Mohr. The rest of the day is free for your own activities. Take a break in the hotel's wonderful wellness area. Daily from 3:00 PM to 5:00 PM, you can enjoy an afternoon snack in the cafe-bar. In the evening, the kitchen team will spoil you with delicious delicacies.

Day 3 | “Panorama Tour”

After breakfast, you will start with a local guide on a beautiful panoramic tour through the mountain world of Salzburg Land. The drive takes you towards St. Johann/Pongau along the Salzach, through Pongau to Zell am See. You have time to stroll by the lake or wander through the small pedestrian zone. Via Saalfelden, you will drive over the Hochkönig, 2941 m above sea level, the highest mountain range of the Berchtesgaden Alps, back to Bischofshofen and then to Wagrain. (In case of winter onset at the mountain pass, return via the same route as on the way there). The hotel restaurant awaits you for a culinary conclusion of the day.

Day 4 | Excursion to Radstadt

After breakfast, you will set off on an excursion to Radstadt. In the depths of the Middle Ages, Radstadt developed into a flourishing trading town due to its strategically favorable location in the Salzburg Ennstal, on the pass road over the Radstädter Tauern. Even today, there is still much to discover and see in this historic small town. The past comes alive again when the Radstadt tour guide tells various stories and legends. In the early afternoon, you will return to the hotel, allowing plenty of time to relax or engage in sports activities. A hearty and sweet snack is available in between. Enjoy the excellent culinary delights of the kitchen one last time in the evening.

Day 5 | Departure

After breakfast, it is unfortunately time to say goodbye and you will begin your journey home.
