Day 1 | Bremen
Departure in the morning heading north. Upon arrival in Bremen, you will check into your hotel. In the evening, enjoy a joint dinner and a cozy conclusion to the first day of travel.
Day 2 | Hanseatic City of Bremen
After breakfast, you will get to know the over 1,200-year-old Hanseatic city of Bremen on a city tour. Discover the most beautiful sights around the historic marketplace with the famous Town Hall, the Roland statue, and the Bremen Town Musicians. The picturesque Schnoor district with its small alleys and lovingly restored houses also invites you to linger. In the afternoon, there will be time for your own activities. Stroll through the city center or visit one of the numerous museums. Use the evening according to your own wishes and end the day with a visit to a restaurant.
Day 3 | Bremerhaven
A special highlight of your trip awaits you today: After breakfast, you will embark on a varied boat trip from Bremen to Bremerhaven. The journey on the Weser River takes you past charming landscapes, small villages, and the impressive port facilities of the region. Enjoy the maritime atmosphere and experience the connection between the traditional Hanseatic city of Bremen and the seaside city of Bremerhaven from the water. Upon arrival in Bremerhaven, visit the German Emigration Center. The award-winning experience museum impressively tells the story of emigration through the ports of Bremerhaven and brings the fates of many people to life. Embark on an exciting journey through time and learn more about the motivations, hopes, and challenges of the emigrants. In the afternoon, return by bus to Bremen. Let the special impressions of this maritime day come to a relaxed end. The evening is at your leisure to explore Bremen according to your own wishes.
Day 4 | Artists' Village Worpswede
After breakfast, you will visit the artists' village of Worpswede, which is idyllically situated in the landscape of the Teufelsmoor. At the end of the 19th century, painters transformed the former farming village into a significant artists' colony. The unique combination of landscape, village life, and art continues to shape the place to this day. On a guided tour, you will discover the most beautiful sights, learn interesting facts about the art and cultural history of Worpswede, and get to know the history of the artists' colony. Afterwards, there will be free time. Browse the small shops, galleries, and studios or visit one of the interesting art exhibitions in the museums (additional cost). In the afternoon, you will return to Bremen on the historic Moorexpress. For over 100 years, this traditional train has connected Bremen with the Teufelsmoor and offers special views of the charming landscape during the journey. In the evening, enjoy a joint dinner at the hotel.
Day 5 | Return Journey
After breakfast, it is time to say goodbye to Bremen. With many beautiful memories of maritime experiences, historic cities, and special excursions, you will begin your journey home.
