Thanks to the lively red wine that grows in the hilly hinterland, the former fishing village of Bardolino is on everyone's lips. Amidst picturesque vineyards and olive groves, numerous wineries and oil mills lie inland. Experience the Italian flair at Lake Garda up close and enjoy the beautiful nature, art and culture, as well as the delightful cuisine of Bella Italia.

Day 1 | Arrival in Bardolino

Departure in the morning and drive to Bardolino on Lake Garda. You will be warmly welcomed at the 4-star Parc Hotel Gritti. Room allocation and dinner.

Day 2 | Free Time

The day is at your leisure. Stroll through the beautiful old town, with its alleys, many shops, typical restaurants, and the long lakeside promenade.

Day 3 | Verona – Wine Tasting

Your excursion today takes you to the festival city of Verona. Romeo and Juliet made Verona famous. During a guided walk through the old town, you will get to know Verona's history and art a little better. Of course, there will also be time for leisure afterwards. Perhaps you will wander through the elegant shopping street Via Mazzini or spend your free time at Piazza Brà with its numerous trattorias. To conclude the day, we invite you to a wine tasting with a small snack in the Affi area.

Day 4 | Northern Lake Garda

Today, together with an experienced tour guide, you will take an excursion along Lake Garda. The drive takes you over Garda, Torbole to Riva del Garda – the “capital” of northern Lake Garda. The fashionable holiday resort is surrounded by mighty mountains at the narrow northern tip of Lake Garda. From here, it’s “anchors aweigh” for a boat trip past Limone to Malcesine. The old town, with its harbor and alleys full of bars and restaurants, gently hugs the slopes of Monte Baldo, the highest mountain on Lake Garda.

Day 5 | Brenta Dolomites

Drive over Trento, through the beautiful mountain world, to the blue shimmering Lake Molveno, at the foot of the Brenta group. After a sightseeing stop, the drive continues through the Brenta Dolomites. As a UNESCO World Natural Heritage site, the Brenta Dolomites are part of the Adamello-Brenta Nature Park. You will return to your hotel for dinner.

Day 6 | Sirmione – Borghetto

Today, together with an experienced tour guide, you will take an excursion to Sirmione. While strolling through the alleys of the peninsula, you will understand why Maria Callas fell in love with the place. Especially the castle, the Grottoes of Catullus, and the Church of Santa Maria Maggiore are very worth seeing. After a sightseeing stop, you will continue along the Mincio River to Borghetto di Valeggio sul Mincio. In the Middle Ages, dozens of mills and waterwheels brought prosperity to the community. The beautiful little town is known beyond its borders for its cuisine and excellent restaurants and is a real insider tip. In the late afternoon, you will return to Bardolino.

Day 7 | Free Time

After breakfast, you have free time and another opportunity to shape the day according to your wishes.

Day 8 | Return Journey

It’s time to say goodbye…. After breakfast, you will begin your journey home.

You will stay at the 4-Star Parc Hotel Gritti (local category), directly on the promenade of Bardolino and just a few steps from the town center. All rooms are nicely and comfortably equipped with a bathtub or shower, toilet, safe, minibar, and TV. There is a private beach with green areas, sun loungers, and umbrellas, as well as a bar and restaurants. The hotel has an elevator, four restaurants, three bars, a swimming pool, an indoor pool, a whirlpool, a sauna, and a Turkish bath (partially subject to charges).
