Day 1 | Arrival

Departure in the morning and drive all the way to the south of Switzerland, to sunny Ticino. Arrival at the hotel in Lugano in the late afternoon. After room distribution, dinner in the hotel restaurant.

Day 2 | Lugano & Lake Lugano

After breakfast, you will embark on a discovery tour through Lugano. The attractive walk through the center of Lugano reveals new, as well as traditional and cultural aspects. The architecturally significant buildings of the past, as well as the bold constructions of modern Ticino architecture and the little streets of the pedestrian zone will fascinate you. After the lunch break, you will take a boat ride across Lake Lugano, enjoying the breathtaking scenery! Return to the hotel and dinner.

Day 3 | Ticino Valleys & Ticino Experience

In the morning, your tour guide will greet you for an excursion to the Ticino valleys. The wild romantic valleys, with their typical stone-roofed houses, are unique. The valleys narrow, become more primal and lonely towards the north, showcasing the incredible diversity of the alpine world. On the way back, you will make a stop in Losone and visit the “Ticino Experience.” In a typical Casa Rustico, you will experience a silent film comedy and receive typical delicacies from the region during the film – a true feast for the senses! Afterwards, our bus will take you back to the hotel, where dinner awaits you.

Day 4 | Centovalli Express

First, you will travel to Locarno. From here, the Centovalli Express train departs to the Italian Domodossola. The train winds through the Centovalli (Hundred Valleys) past waterfalls, over daring bridges, and through vineyards. The romantic excursion features 348 curves, 83 bridges, 31 tunnels, and beautiful landscapes. Upon arrival in Domodossola, we recommend enjoying a gelato at the marketplace before starting your return journey along Lake Maggiore to the hotel.

Day 5 | Return Journey

One last breakfast at the hotel, and then it's time to say goodbye. You leave the Swiss sunroom – Ticino and begin your journey home.
