As the days grow shorter and the north is bathed in warm lights, this round trip unfolds its special charm. Between Hanseatic elegance, Scandinavian lifestyle, and festive Advent atmosphere, you will experience some of the most beautiful cities around the Baltic Sea. Hamburg, Lübeck, Copenhagen, Malmö, Stralsund, and Rostock present themselves in their winter attire – with historic old towns, maritime flair, and lovingly designed Christmas markets. Whether strolling through festively decorated streets, enjoying a lively harbor parade, or crossing by ferry: This journey combines culture, enjoyment, and anticipation of Christmas into an unforgettable winter experience in the far north.

Day 1 | Arrival in Hamburg (approx. 600 km)

Departure in the morning and drive to Hamburg. After checking into the hotel, the evening is at your leisure.

Day 2 | Hamburg – Christmas Market Gut

Basthorst – Lübeck (approx. 100 km)

After breakfast, you will get to know festive Hamburg better during a city tour. Afterwards, there will be time for a stroll through the historic Christmas market at the Town Hall, where arts and crafts are the focus. Around noon, continue to the atmospheric Christmas market at Gut Basthorst, one of the most beautiful Advent markets in Northern Germany. In a festive atmosphere, lovingly decorated stalls invite you to browse. In the evening, continue to Lübeck. Check into the hotel for the next two nights. Dinner.

Day 3 | Christmas City Lübeck

Today you will explore Lübeck, the Christmas city of the North, on a guided city tour. You will see, among other things, the famous Holstentor and the historic old town, which is a UNESCO World Heritage site. Afterwards, you can enjoy the unique atmosphere in the city, created by the numerous medieval, artisanal, and historical Christmas markets.

Day 4 | Lübeck – Copenhagen (approx. 275 km)

After breakfast, you will continue towards Denmark to the vibrant capital, Copenhagen. Upon arrival, check into your hotel. Those who wish can experience the atmospheric floating Lucia Parade in the harbor of Copenhagen in the evening – a very special pre-Christmas experience.

Day 5 | Copenhagen

Today you will get to know Copenhagen on a city tour. You will see, among other things, the Little Mermaid, Amalienborg Palace, and the old harbor Nyhavn. Afterwards, there will be plenty of free time to explore the city individually and do some Christmas shopping. We recommend visiting the Christmas market in the famous Tivoli (entrance for an additional fee). Overnight stay in Copenhagen.

Day 6 | Copenhagen – Malmö – Lund – Ferry (approx. 115 km)

After breakfast, you will cross the Øresund Bridge to Sweden and reach Malmö. During a city tour, you will get to know the modern city with its historic old town. Continue to Lund, where you will have time for a short stay and enjoy the Nordic winter atmosphere once again. In the evening, you will reach Trelleborg and board the ferry to Rostock. Dinner and overnight on board.

Day 7 | Rostock – Stralsund (approx. 230 km)

After disembarking in Rostock, you will take an excursion to Stralsund. A city guide will show you the most beautiful sides of the Hanseatic city. Afterwards, the Stralsund Christmas market, one of the most beautiful Christmas markets in the Baltic Sea, invites you to visit. Back in Rostock, check into the hotel. You can spend the last evening at Northern Germany's largest Christmas market and reflect on the past days.

Day 8 | Return Journey (approx. 770 km)

After breakfast, you will begin your journey home with many beautiful impressions, a festive atmosphere, and Nordic flair in your luggage.
