Travel Itinerary

Day 1 | Arrival in Prague – Opera “Carmen”

Departure in the early morning and drive to Prague. After checking into your room and having an early dinner, the first event of the festival cycle is already on the agenda. You will attend the opera “Carmen” by G. Bizet at the National Theatre around 7:00 PM (end of performance: approx. 9:50 PM). The opera is known for its dramatic storyline, passionate music, and famous arias like the “Habanera.” Return transfer to the hotel after the performance.

Day 2 | Prague Old Town – Free Time – Opera
“La Traviata”

During today’s tour of the Old Town, you will see the magnificent Art Nouveau buildings on Paris Street, the Old Town Square with the Town Hall and Astronomical Clock, Karlova Street, the Vltava promenade, and Charles Bridge. Those who wish can leisurely stroll through the streets of the Old Town and soak in the atmosphere of this world city. Many cafés and museums invite you to linger beside the numerous squares. After an early dinner at the hotel, we invite you to the opulent State Opera around 7:00 PM for the opera “La Traviata” by Giuseppe Verdi (end of performance: approx. 9:40 PM). This operatic tragedy is certainly one of Verdi’s most famous and romantic works. Return transfer to the hotel.

Day 3 | Castle District – Optional: “Parsifal” by
R. Wagner or Concert Visit

Today you will explore baroque Prague in the Castle District with noble palaces and winding alleys. The walk takes you past Strahov Monastery, the Loreto Pilgrimage Church, Prague Castle, the German Embassy, to St. Nicholas Church (interior visit) and the Church of Our Lady Victorious with the Prague Infant Jesus on the Lesser Town side of Prague. To recharge, we invite you to a lunch at a restaurant. The rest of the afternoon is at your leisure. Perhaps you will take a stroll through the UNESCO-protected center with its architectural cultural treasures and walk through modern Prague with its elegant shopping streets and extravagant boutiques. Around 4:00 PM, there is the option to attend the performance “Parsifal” by Richard Wagner at the State Opera (additional cost) or at 7:30 PM to attend a concert at the historic concert hall Simon & Juda (additional cost). Individual return to the hotel.

Day 4 | Departure

After breakfast, it is unfortunately time to say goodbye to an extraordinary stay in Prague filled with many musical highlights.

4-Star Superior Hotel Panorama by Verdi in Prague (Praha 4)

The 4-Star Superior Hotel (national category) has 440 rooms and is centrally located. The Pankrac metro station (approx. 10 min. ride with public transport to the center) and a shopping center are located near the hotel. All rooms are equipped with a bathtub or shower, toilet, hairdryer, TV, safe, telephone, minibar, and air conditioning/heating. The hotel features restaurants, a bar, café, sauna, solarium, wellness area, and fitness room (for a fee). Additionally, the hotel offers free Wi-Fi.
