Itinerary

Day 1 | Flight Arrival – Welcome to Ireland

Transfer from BOHR Island to the airport and flight to Dublin. During a city tour, you will get to know the main attractions. Afterwards, dinner and overnight stay at the 4-star The Address Citywest Hotel (local category) in Dublin.

Day 2 | Dublin – Galway – Ireland's Wild West (approx. 260 km)

Drive towards Galway. Halfway, you will find the massive ruins of the Clonmacnoise monastery complex. In front of the cathedral stands one of the most beautiful high crosses in Ireland. In Oranmore (Galway area), you will be warmly welcomed at the 4-star Oranmore Lodge Hotel (local category).

Day 3 | Connemara – Between Mountains and Atlantic (approx. 260 km)

You will take an excursion to the Connemara Peninsula, which, with its lonely beaches, rocky coastlines, and mysterious bogs, is one of the most beautiful areas in Ireland. On your drive through the Connemara region, you will encounter Kylemore Abbey, once the residence of the Henry family, which served for many years as a Benedictine monastery and girls' school. After your exploration, you will return to your hotel for dinner.

Day 4 | Galway – Tralee (approx. 140 km)

Today you will travel through the Burren region, where an impressive rocky landscape awaits you. Your first stop will be at the Cliffs of Moher, where the cliffs rise up to 200 m from the Atlantic. You will continue to Bunratty Castle. Near the old castle, there is a Folk Village with historic cottages, whose roofs are traditionally thatched. Continue via Adare to Tralee and check into The Rose Hotel. Dinner and overnight stay.

Day 5 | Excursion Ring of Kerry (approx. 180 km)

Drive counterclockwise on Ireland's most famous scenic road – the Ring of Kerry. To conclude, visit Muckross House & Garden in Killarney. Dinner and overnight stay in Tralee.

Day 6 | Tralee – Carlow (approx. 200 km)

Drive through County Tipperary. On the Rock of Cashel, you will find Cormac's Chapel, where St. Patrick's Cross is still kept today. Afterwards, visit Kilkenny Castle, which was the seat of the Butler family until 1931. In the late afternoon, you will reach your hotel in Carlow. Dinner and overnight stay at the 4-star Talbot Hotel Carlow (local category).

Day 7 | From Carlow to the Heart of Ireland (approx. 90 km)

Return to Dublin. Upon arrival, visit Trinity College, the oldest university in Ireland with the precious “Book of Kells.” The rest of the afternoon is yours to enjoy. Dinner and overnight stay at the 4-star Iveagh Garden Hotel in Dublin (local category).

Day 8 | Wicklow Mountains (approx. 131 km)

The Wicklow Mountains, south of Dublin, are among the most beautiful natural landscapes in Ireland. In the heart of the Wicklow Mountains lies the Glendalough Valley, home to a well-known monastic settlement. You will return to your hotel in Dublin for dinner.

Day 9 | Return Flight

After breakfast, you will depart from Dublin for your return flight to Frankfurt.
