Spring Awakening at Lake Como

Our journey takes you to the third largest lake in Italy – the beautiful Lake Como, which is already welcoming spring at this time of year. At the comfortable Hotel Bazzoni in Tremezzo, you will stay right by the shore and enjoy breathtaking views of the sparkling water and the still snow-capped Alpine peaks. While winter freshness is still felt in the mountains, the Mediterranean vegetation is already coming to life by the lake: camellias, magnolias, and the first blossoms adorn the magnificent gardens and villas along the promenades. Day 1 | Arrival

Departure in the morning and drive to Tremezzo on Lake Como. Room allocation and dinner.

Day 2 | Como – Mini Cruise on Lake Como

After breakfast, you will drive along the picturesque lakeside road to the elegant city of Como, which delights with its historic old town, stylish squares, and Mediterranean atmosphere. During a guided city tour, you will discover the main attractions of the city: the impressive Cathedral of Como, winding alleys, elegant boutiques, and the lively lakeside promenade with its cafés and historic buildings. Afterwards, a relaxing mini cruise awaits you on the lake with a passenger ship. From the water, you can enjoy unique views of some of the most beautiful villas and landscapes in the region. Magnificent baroque and neoclassical villas with their extensive parks reflect in the deep blue water, while romantic villages, Romanesque churches, and historic mansions line the shores.

Day 3 | Lugano – Chocolate Factory in Caslano

Today, the journey first takes you to the beautiful city of Lugano, idyllically located on the shores of Lake Lugano and surrounded by impressive mountain scenery. During a guided city walk, you will get to know the charming old town with its Mediterranean facades, elegant arcades, and stylish boutiques. Around the lively Piazza della Riforma, you can feel the special flair of the city, while historic buildings, small cafés, and well-kept squares invite you to linger. The beautiful lakeside promenade also enchants with its flower arrangements, palm trees, and breathtaking views of the sparkling lake. In the afternoon, a delightful highlight awaits you: a visit to the famous Alprose chocolate factory in Caslano. Immerse yourself in the traditional world of Swiss chocolate and learn interesting facts about the production of the famous specialties – from the cocoa bean to the finished praline. Of course, tasting is also a must: indulge in the fine aromas and delicious creations.

Day 4 | Bellagio – Villa Carlotta

Just a few steps from Hotel Bazzoni, the magnificent Villa Carlotta in Tremezzo awaits you – one of the most beautiful villas on Lake Como. Together with a local guide, you will discover the impressive art collections and the extensive botanical gardens of the historic villa. Between blooming azaleas, exotic plants, terraces, and romantic paths, you will enjoy wonderful views of the lake and the surrounding mountains. The elegant atmosphere of this historic estate makes the visit a special experience. Afterwards, you will take the ferry across Lake Como to Bellagio – the most famous and picturesque place in the region. The charming village delights with its winding streets, stylish houses, small boutiques, and cozy cafés. During a walk through the historic town center, you can enjoy the special flair of Bellagio as well as breathtaking panoramic views of the sparkling Lake Como and the surrounding mountain landscapes.

Day 5 | Return Journey

After breakfast, departure for the return journey.

The hotel is located directly on the shore with a magnificent view of the lake, in the center of Tremezzo, and has 140 rooms equipped with a private bathroom with shower and toilet, hairdryer, telephone, and TV. The hotel kitchen provides guests with breakfast as well as lunch. Dinner is served in buffet form.
