Technology Trip

Day 1 | Arrival – Mercedes Benz Sindelfingen

Departure in the morning. On the day of arrival, you will experience “pure technology” at the traditional vehicle plant of the Mercedes-Benz Group AG in Sindelfingen. In addition to vehicle production, the research and development department is also located here. Gain exciting insights into the history and future of the Mercedes-Benz brand and see how modern craftsmanship and technology merge together. During a guided tour, you will also experience firsthand how vehicle models of the upper and luxury classes are manufactured using the latest technology. You will then be impressed as you drive to your hotel. After checking into your room, you will meet again for a joint dinner.

Day 2 | Test Tower Rottweil – Return Journey

Today, you will also experience a special highlight: ThyssenKrupp Elevator built a 246 m high test tower for elevator systems in Rottweil from 2014 to 2017. At this tower of superlatives, Germany's highest viewing platform is located at a height of 232 m. In the panoramic elevator, you will ascend in a few seconds and enjoy a spectacular view, weather permitting, all the way to the Swiss Alps. Afterwards, there will be time for a leisurely stroll through the medieval old town of Rottweil. After lunch, a visit to the Alpirsbacher Brauwelt is planned. After a brewery tour, you will begin your journey home.
