Day 1 | Arrival in Sanremo

Departure in the morning and drive to Sanremo on the Italian Riviera. Check into your room and dinner at the hotel.

Day 2 | Carnival in Nice

The morning is free for you in Sanremo. After lunch at the hotel, you will visit Nice, the capital of the Côte d’Azur. The city delights with a unique blend of Mediterranean lifestyle, cultural richness, and scenic beauty. Located directly by the azure sea, the famous Promenade des Anglais shapes the cityscape – lined with palm trees, elegant hotels, and a wide view over the Baie des Anges. After a guided tour, a highlight of this trip awaits you: The Nice Carnival. Burlesque and magical performances, extravagant floats, large heads, and elegant flower battles await you up close. After the parade, you will return to your hotel.

Day 3 | Lemon Festival in Menton

After a leisurely breakfast, you will travel to Menton to visit the Lemon Festival, one of the most extraordinary and colorful events on the Côte d’Azur. Every year, the city transforms into an impressive artwork made of citrus fruits. Millions of lemons and oranges are turned into gigantic figures, imaginative sculptures, and elaborately designed floats. The highlight is the festive parade with music, dance, and decorated floats. The Lemon Festival is accompanied by regional markets, culinary specialties, and cultural events, all centered around the lemon. In the late afternoon, you will return to your hotel. Dinner and overnight stay.

Day 4 | Monaco – Monte Carlo

A trip to Monaco and Monte Carlo leads you into a world full of glamour, elegance, and stunning views. The Principality of Monaco, one of the smallest countries in the world, impresses with its spectacular location between steep cliffs and the deep blue Mediterranean Sea. At least once in a lifetime, one must experience Monaco. In the historic district of Monaco-Ville, also known as “Le Rocher,” you will find the Prince's Palace, which towers high above the sea. From here, you can enjoy a breathtaking view over the harbor and the coast (external visit). Monte Carlo, on the other hand, stands for luxury and sophisticated flair. The world-famous casino, magnificent hotels, and upscale boutiques shape the cityscape. A walk along the marina rounds off the visit. Return to the hotel and dinner.

Day 5 | Dolceaqua

After a leisurely breakfast, you will head to Dolceaqua. There you will find some of the most photographed motifs of Liguria, such as the bridge Ponte Vecchio, described by Claude Monet as the “Jewel of Lightness,” or the ruins of the Doria Castle. You will return to your hotel for dinner.

Day 6 | Departure

Today it’s time to say goodbye – the eventful days on the Côte d’Azur come to an end. With many unforgettable impressions in your luggage, you will begin your journey home.
