Day 1 | Arrival in Sønderborg (approx. 793 km)

Departure in the early morning and drive just behind the Danish border to Sønderborg. Dinner and overnight stay at the 4-star Hotel Sønderborg Strand (local category).

Day 2 | Sønderborg – Egeskov Castle – Køge

(approx. 188 km)

After a short ferry ride from Fynshav, you will reach Bøjden on the island of Funen. You will visit the romantic Egeskov Castle in South Funen. Egeskov is Denmark's best-preserved water castle, located in a charming park. Afterwards, continue over the Great Belt Bridge to Køge. Day 3 | South Zealand (approx. 206 km)

Today you will take a day trip to South Zealand. The observation tower “Skovtårnet” offers a magnificent view, with its unique construction having won several international awards. A 650 m long wooden spiral bridge leads to the observation platform, which at 135 m is the highest point in Zealand. On a clear day, you can even see as far as Copenhagen and Malmö. The view from the chalk cliffs of Møns Klint is equally spectacular, with its coast also known as the “cold Caribbean of Denmark.” Walk along the wooden path to the viewpoints or descend the stairs to the beach. Dinner and overnight stay at the hotel.

Day 4 | Copenhagen (approx. 91 km)

The capital of the oldest kingdom in the world is fairy-tale-like, modern, and charming at the same time. On a city tour, you will get to know the most beautiful views and important sights. Afterwards, you will have free time. How about a canal tour or some Smørrebrød for lunch? The shopping street Strøget with numerous shops, boutiques, and street cafés, as well as the magical Tivoli Park, invite you to linger. For dinner, you will return to your hotel.

Day 5 | Roskilde (approx. 59 km)

Today you will travel to Roskilde and first visit the Viking Ship Museum. The museum showcases five original Viking ships from the 11th century, dramatically staged with the Roskilde Fjord in the background. Immerse yourself in the fascinating seafaring of the Vikings. After an individual lunch break, you will visit the Roskilde Cathedral. The cathedral is a royal burial site, world-class architecture, and a vibrant parish church. UNESCO has designated the Roskilde Cathedral as a cultural heritage of outstanding universal value. Return to the hotel for dinner.

Day 6 | Køge – Rødby – Puttgarden

After breakfast, it's time to say goodbye to Denmark as you begin your return journey via the Bird Flight Route to Puttgarden. Upon arrival, continue to Lübeck. During a guided tour, you will discover the most beautiful spots of the Hanseatic city. Afterwards, drive to the hotel. Dinner and overnight stay.

Day 7 | Return journey (approx. 651 km)
