Itinerary
Day 1 | Arrival in the Como Area –
Overnight Stay
Departure in the morning and drive to the Como area for an overnight stay.
Day 2 | Ferry Crossing Elba – Portoferraio
Continue to Piombino for the ferry crossing to Portoferraio on Elba. The island's capital has preserved its ancient Renaissance charm to this day. After your arrival, you will continue to your hotel.
Day 3 | Monte Calamita
Today you will hike in the southeast of the island. The circular hike begins in the picturesque village of Capoliveri and leads around Monte Calamita – also known as the Magnet Mountain. Enjoy stunning views of the sea as well as the neighboring islands of Montecristo and Pianosa. Back in Capoliveri, you will have some free time. Stroll through narrow alleys with stairs, romantically nested houses, and flower-decorated balconies. To conclude the day, we invite you to a cozy wine tasting at a winery, including a small snack. Dinner and overnight stay at the hotel.

Day 4 | Viticcio – Procchio
By bus, you will reach Viticcio in the morning, a small rocky bay known for the intense turquoise color of the water. From here, you will walk along a varied coastal path, through oak forests and dense maquis, with beautiful views of secluded bays and rocky coastlines to the sandy beach of Procchio. You will return to your hotel for dinner.

Day 5 | Rio nell’Elba – Porto Azzurro
Bus ride to Rio nell'Elba, one of the oldest municipalities on Elba. The picturesque, small mountain village is located at about 165 m, at the foot of Monte Strega and has a medieval charm. It is hard to imagine that Rio nell'Elba has been repeatedly raided by pirates over time. The hike offers fantastic views of the sea, descending from the mountain Cima del Monte into the valley, to the blue harbor – Porto Azzurro. Narrow alleys and houses from the 17th and 18th centuries shape the historic center. You will have free time. Dinner and overnight stay at the hotel.

Day 6 | Sant’Andrea – Marciana Marina
Today's hike starts in Sant’Andrea, in the western part of the island. First, it goes up a bit steeply, through and along the coastal hiking path between pines, heather, and strawberry trees. Passing picturesque bays with beautiful views, you will reach the beach of Marciana Marina. Those who wish can take a dip in the refreshing sea. Return to the hotel and dinner.

Day 7 | Ferry Crossing – Overnight Stay
Ferry crossing to Piombino and continue to the Como area for an overnight stay.
Day 8 | Return Journey
After breakfast, you will begin your return journey.

The hikes on the island of Elba require hiking training and fitness. Some hikes lead partially over rocky and stony paths. Some ascents and descents are steep.

The hotel rooms are comfortable, cozy, and furnished with care and attention to detail. The hotel rooms are located in the main building or in annexes and feature a bathtub or shower, toilet, hairdryer, telephone, and TV. The hotel is only about 150 meters from the sandy beach.
