Hiking in the Großarltal

In harmony with nature

Embark on promising hikes in alpine pastures and mountains. Summer in Großarl is diverse and varied. Here, you will feel close to heaven during your hikes and mountain tours against the impressive backdrop of the Hohe Tauern. The Großarltal, with its national park community Hüttschlag and its European village Großarl, rightfully earns the name Valley of the Alms. For nowhere else in the Salzburg region is there a valley that deserves this title more. There are nearly 40 huts that provide hikers along the approximately 400 km of marked hiking trails with homemade delicacies.
