Day 1 | Arrival

Departure in the morning and drive to Paratico, on the southern shore of Lake Iseo. After checking into your room, you will be welcomed to a welcome dinner at the hotel restaurant.

Day 2 | Brescia – Lake Iseo

There are cities that pleasantly surprise you and from which you do not expect to be full of interesting sights. Discover today how beautiful Brescia is and look back on a history that dates back to ancient times. A walk through the city is like diving into many epochs of European architectural history. The heart of the city is the Piazza della Loggia and the Piazza del Duomo. Afterwards, you will return to Lake Iseo, nestled between the provinces of Bergamo and Brescia, like a jewel of rare beauty. On its shores lie ancient villages like Pisogne, magnificent squares like the one at the harbor of Lovere, and picturesque towns like Riva di Solto. At Lake Iseo, nature and art harmoniously merge. In the medieval old town of the main town Iseo, you have the opportunity to stroll through the winding alleys that climb the hill up to Castello Oldofredi.

Day 3 | Franciacorta

Today, your journey takes you through the untouched hilly landscape of the famous wine region Franciacorta, located just a few steps from Brescia and Lake Iseo, and renowned for the production of the eponymous Franciacorta DOCG wine. The landscape is characterized by impressive hills, lovely vineyards, magnificent villas, ancient castles, and churches. The excursion is rounded off with a visit to a typical winery, where you can taste the excellent wines.

Day 4 | Bergamo

Bergamo is particularly appealing due to its upper town, surrounded by medieval walls, the ancient heart of the city, with the cathedral and the fortress. You will take the funicular up to the old upper town Città Alta, characterized by cobblestone streets. You will walk to Piazza Vecchia, where the cathedral, the baptistery, the church of Santa Maria Maggiore with the Colleoni Chapel, and the Palazzo della Ragione form a unique ensemble (exterior visits). Let yourself be carried away by the picturesque alleys and discover many interesting things in the small old town shops. Here, you may enjoy the famous pasta dish “Casoncelli” during a shared lunch.

Day 5 | Departure

After breakfast, the luggage will be loaded, and you will begin your journey home with many beautiful impressions in your travel luggage.
