Itinerary
Day 1 | Arrival in Pitztal
Departure in the morning and arrival in Arzl in Pitztal. Here you will be warmly welcomed with a welcome drink. Check-in and dinner at the hotel.
Day 2 | “HarbeRunde and Cult-Ur-Weg”
With the hiking bus, you will travel to the nature park house at Piller (1,559 m). The Piller-Gachenblick is a particularly valuable area in the Kaunergrat Nature Park, distinguished by its geological, cultural, historical, and botanical features. After visiting the viewing platform with its breathtaking view of the Upper Inn Valley, you will start a mountain hiking tour of about 2.5 hours around the Hahnenegger. After a stop at the Kaunergrat Nature Park House, where you can visit the interesting exhibition “Vertical 3000,” with great insights into the glacier world, you will descend the “Cult-Ur-Weg” down to Fuchsmoos. This path is a particularly well-preserved part of the famous “Via Claudia Augusta.” Return to the hotel.

Day 3 | Hochzeiger
You will take the Hochzeiger cable cars to the mountain station at Hochzeiger at about 2,500 m. From there, the mountain hike begins, following the ridge over the Niederjöchl past the Sechszeiger at the reservoir to the summit cross, and then you will descend leisurely through beautiful larch and pine forests to the Kalben Alm. A breathtaking view of countless mountain ranges in Arzl, Imst, and the surrounding area accompanies you. After an individual break, you will return to the starting point.

Day 4 | Alm hike to Arzler Alm
Start in St. Leonhard. Here is the entry point for the mountain hike below the pilgrimage church of Maria am Bichele. You will cross a small wooden bridge, and immediately the initially somewhat steep mountain hiking trail begins up to Arzler Alm (1,887 m), which you will reach after about 1½ hours. After a short break, you will hike on the “Pitztaler Almenweg” to Tiefental Alm (1,880 m) with the most beautiful valley closure of the Pitztal at the foot of the Rofele Wall. On the way back, you will hike on the “Old Almenweg.”

Day 5 | Rosengartenschlucht Imst
Today's mountain hike begins in the city center of Imst. At the Johanneskirche, you enter the famous Rosengartenschlucht, passing roaring waterfalls, over daring bridges, and relics from the long-gone mining era up to Hoch Imst. There, you will take the double chairlift to Untermarkter Alm and continue hiking to the rustic Latschenhütte. After a hearty break, you will return via the Jägersteig and take the lift back down to the valley from Untermarkter Alm.

Walking time: approx. 4 hours
Day 6 | Zirbenpark
With the Hochzeiger cable car, you will reach the middle station and hike through the “Zirbenpark” and further down to the Stalderhütte. Here you have the opportunity for an individual lunch break. Afterwards, you will leisurely hike back to the valley station.

Day 7 | Return journey

The order of the hikes is always adjusted and organized according to the weather forecasts. Changes to the program and route are reserved.
Good physical condition, mountain experience, surefootedness, and wearing ankle-high hiking boots are prerequisites.
