Travel Itinerary
Day 1 | Arrival
Departure in the morning and drive to Haus im Ennstal. You will be warmly welcomed with a Styrian "Grüß Gott". After dinner, there will be a house schnapps and presentation of the hiking program.
Day 2 | Largest Waterfall in Styria
After breakfast, you will take the bus to Schladming. Here, your hike begins through the Talbach Gorge into the beautiful Untertal and along the stream to the Waldhäuslalm. You will reach the Riesach Waterfall, the largest waterfall in Styria, via the Weiße Wand. Our bus will be waiting for you at the Gasthof Riesach for the return trip to the hotel.

Day 3 | Majestic Dachstein
You will reach the valley station of the Dachstein cable car (Türlwandhütte) by bus. From here, take the cable car up to the Dachstein Glacier (approx. 2,700 m). Experience one of the most spectacular viewing platforms in the Alps – the Dachstein Sky Walk. Below your feet: the 250-meter vertical rock face of the Hunerkogel. You will take the cable car back down to the valley and hike from the valley station along the hut path to Ramsau. From here, you will take the bus back to the hotel.

Day 4 | Hike to Schafsinn
With the cable car, you will reach the Hauser Kaibling. Below the mountain station of the chairlift, the path descends slightly to the viewing bench. Then the path climbs in 6 switchbacks and leads deeper into the main Alpine ridge. The path leads to the interesting Schafsinn research area and further into the wonderful Kaiblingalm. The comfortable high forest path completes the hiking round directly at the gondola station. Return with the new chairlift and cable car to Haus im Ennstal.

Day 5 | Hike on the local mountain of Schladming
After breakfast, you will take public transport to Schladming. With the cable car, you will reach the middle station. On hiking trail 779, you will ascend to the summit of Planai. The path is mostly a beautiful forest and root path and offers wonderful views. In the afternoon, you will take the cable car back to Schladming with opportunities for strolling and shopping in the WM city. Along the Enns, you will reach your hotel.

Day 6 | Reiteralm
You will reach the valley station of Preunegg Jet by bus and take the cable car to Reiteralm. From here, your circular hike begins over Gasslhöhe, Rippetegg to the middle Gasslsee. In the last 30 years, this has been renamed Mirror Lake by many photography enthusiasts. Beautifully situated, it offers a wonderful reflection of the southern walls of the Dachstein from the south end when the wind is calm. You will walk back to your starting point and return to your hotel for dinner.
