Biking pleasure on the Neckar

Day 1 | Speyer – Schwetzingen – Heidelberg

Departure in the morning and drive to the cathedral city of Speyer, the starting point of your cycling tour. The route initially runs along the left bank of the Rhine, flat and idyllic through the Rhine lowlands. Crossing the Rhine with the Koller ferry and continuing by bike on well-developed bike paths through the floodplains and fields towards Schwetzingen. After an individual lunch break, the tour continues through the Rhine plain, over fields and suburbs to the university city of Heidelberg. Here, a guided tour of the old town awaits you before you cycle to the hotel. Dinner and overnight stay at the hotel.

Day 2 | Boat Trip – Neckar – Return Journey

By bike, you will ride along the Neckar to the boat dock. Boat trip to Neckargemünd and from there continue depending on the riverbank in Baden or Hesse to the four-castle town of Neckarsteinach. Following the Neckar, you will reach Hirschhorn. After a short city tour, you will cycle to Eberbach and from there towards Zwingenberg. Shortly after Neckargerach, you will cross the Neckar one last time and soon reach your destination, Obrigheim. Here, the bus is ready for further travel. To conclude, we invite you to a cozy winegrower's snack. Afterwards, return journey.

The routes run on bike paths wherever possible. Hotel parking spaces are reserved for bicycles on the premises, and you must lock your bike with an insurance-compliant bike lock.
