Day 1 | Franconia – Wine Whispering –

Departure in the morning and drive to the Main-Spessart district, to the half-timbered town of Karlstadt in Lower Franconia. Behind one of the most beautiful town silhouettes along the Main, a Franconian town of particular charm opens up to visitors in Karlstadt. Stay and time for an individual stroll through the historic old town. Short drive to Stetten to the winemaker's cellar – authentic, a true insider tip for wine lovers, a vinotheque in the old style. You are invited to a Franconian wine tasting and a Franconian snack. At the Maritim Hotel Würzburg, you will be warmly welcomed in the late afternoon. Check-in and dinner at the hotel.

Day 2 | Würzburg – New Year's Eve Celebration

After breakfast, there is time for individual strolling. Würzburg is a city of contrasts. Significant monuments testify to over 1,300 years of varied history. But Würzburg is more than a city of history: the city lives and pulses through its young, student-shaped society. Afterwards, you will experience Würzburg on a guided tour of the old town, which takes you to the magnificent residence, the Old Main district, and the Old Main Bridge. Here, mulled wine is ready for you, and while you enjoy the hot delicacy, your guide will tell you about the sights, Fortress Marienberg, Käppele, vineyards, etc. Back at the hotel, you can relax and prepare for New Year's Eve. Let the old year end in style at the grand New Year's Eve ball in the directly adjacent Congress Center Hotel.

Day 3 | Rothenburg ob der Tauber

Enjoy the extended hangover breakfast buffet. Late in the morning, you will start the excursion to the Romantic Road, to the medieval Rothenburg ob der Tauber. In hardly any other German city has the romantic flair of the late Middle Ages and the Renaissance been preserved as here. On the guided tour, you will discover the fascinating history and experience the special atmosphere of this romantic town. Experience the historic old town with its romantic alleys and picturesque corners and get an overview of the various aspects and epochs of Rothenburg's city history. Of course, you will have free time for your own activities. Return to the hotel and dinner.

Day 4 | Farewell

After breakfast, you will begin your return journey. To conclude the trip, the drive takes you to Fortress Marienberg. Enjoy a magnificent “farewell” view of the city and region. Continue to Miltenberg on the Main, with its medieval half-timbering. Here you have time at your disposal. Now embark on a discovery tour: experience the single malt whisky production in the most experimental whisky distillery in Germany during a tour and tasting. With many travel experiences, you will return home.
