Itinerary
Day 1 | Arrival
Departure in the morning and drive to northern France. After checking into the hotel, you will get to know Lille better during a guided tour. Dinner at the hotel follows.
Day 2 | Arras – Amiens
After breakfast, drive to Arras, a true insider tip in northern France and a magnificent example of Flemish architecture. During a city tour, you will discover the Gothic Belfry and the Vauban Citadel – both UNESCO World Heritage sites. Afterwards, there will be time for a leisurely stroll before continuing to Amiens, the capital of Picardy. During a visit, you will get to know Amiens as the “City of Art and History” more closely.
Day 3 | Northern French Coast
Today you will first travel to the seaside resort of Malo-les-Bains with its extensive sandy beach and magnificent villas. Afterwards, you will visit the lighthouse of Dunkirk, a landmark of the port city. The journey continues to the port city of Calais. Here, you will visit the Lace Museum, which showcases the traditional art of lace-making. In the afternoon, you will discover the impressive Cap Blanc-Nez. During a short walk on the white chalk cliffs, you can enjoy a wonderful view over the English Channel.
Day 4 | Namur – Return Journey
After breakfast, begin your journey home. On the way, you will take a lunch break in Namur, the charming capital of Wallonia.
