River romance from Trier to Nuremberg

On your cruise from Trier to Nuremberg, you will experience Germany in all its diversity. The magnificent waterways of the Moselle and Main, Danube and Rhine will take you to natural wonders full of ruggedness and romance, as well as to famous cities where history and the present merge in various ways. Stroll through the historic streets and alleys of Trier and Koblenz and enjoy grand views from the sun deck of the wealth of nature passing by.

Day 1 | Arrival in Trier – Embarkation

Departure in the morning and drive to Trier. During a guided tour, you will pass by the major historical highlights of the city center, where five buildings are part of the UNESCO World Heritage. Afterwards, you have free time in the city center before embarking in the afternoon.

Day 2 | Bernkastel-Kues

Discover the medieval town of Bernkastel-Kues during an entertaining old town tour. To conclude, there will be a short vineyard walk, and you will enjoy two wines in a historic building.

Day 3 | Koblenz – Rüdesheim

During a walk through the romantic alleys between the Basilica of St. Castor and the Church of Our Lady, you will get to know the main attractions of Koblenz. Back on board, a relaxed and picturesque journey begins along the Rhine passage of the Loreley, a famous section of the Rhine, to Rüdesheim.

Day 4 | Rüdesheim

Before continuing the journey, the traditional winemaker express will take you from the ship's landing stage to "Siegfried's Mechanical Music Cabinet." There, a musical adventure awaits you with historical self-playing musical instruments. Afterwards, a guided tour will take you through the picturesque town.

Day 5 | Miltenberg

In the morning, you will get to know Miltenberg, which is beautifully situated between the Main River and the wooded slopes of the Odenwald. During a wine tasting, you will enjoy the wines from the region around Miltenberg, which belongs to the wine-growing area of Franconia.

Day 6 | Würzburg

Early in the morning, your ship arrives in Würzburg. After breakfast, you disembark and discover the numerous sights of Würzburg's old town during a guided tour. In the afternoon, you will take an excursion to Rothenburg ob der Tauber.

Day 7 | Zeil am Main – Bamberg

At noon, you disembark in Zeil am Main and continue by bus to Bamberg. Immerse yourself in the medieval history and experience the charm of this city during the guided tour. In the evening, the ship will also have arrived in Bamberg, and you will return on board.

Day 8 | Disembarkation – Nuremberg – Return Journey

After breakfast, you leave the ship and start a guided tour through the old town alleys of Nuremberg. After experiencing the cosmopolitan atmosphere of a livable city, there will be some free time for an individual lunch break before you begin your journey home.
